Villa Samas

Ruhige, wunderschöne Lage mitten in der Natur mit vielen Tieren – ideal zum Entspannen. Amila und seine Familie waren jederzeit für uns da, sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gut hat uns das liebevoll zubereitete, traditionelle Frühstück und Abendessen geschmeckt.

Вилла просто огонь. Все есть, прочитано до мелочей. Интерьер супер. Бассейн один из лучших что я видел. Чистота и порядок, минибар, сахар, кофе, стиралка. Все было. Везде отрава от комаров в розетки вставлена. Прилегающая территория ухожена, травка пострижена. Мангальная зона тоже есть. Не хотелось уезжать.

Можно было бы еще кастрюльку одну по меньше поставить, немного не хватало. И заткнуть бы этого долбанного павлина, который нам спать не давал по утрам 😂

Wir haben in der Villa Samas 3 Nächte verbracht und es war unglaublich schön dort. Es ist noch schöner als die Bilder erahnen lassen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der schöne Poolbereich und die geschmackvolle und stimmig zusammengestellte Inneneinrichtung der Villa - wo man hinschaut antike Möbel- und Sammlerstücke. Es hätte tatsächlich nicht besser sein können und wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt. Die Villa Samas ist auf jeden Fall etwas Besonderes ... uneingeschränkte Empfehlung ...

Nichts.

We hebben als gezin 4 weken door Sri Lanka gereisd en bij Villa Samas geëindigd. We kunnen zeggen dat het een van onze hoogtepunten was en verreweg het mooiste verblijf. De accommodatie heeft alle denkbare voorzieningen beschikbaar en bovenal zeer smaakvol ingericht. De eigenaar is een ware interieur ontwerper. Daarnaast vonden we de lokatie ideaal. Galle is makkelijk te bezoeken maar je zit niet in de drukte. Het is een waar paradijs waar je omringt bent door prachtige natuur en vele dieren. Het ontbijt was verrukkelijk en zeer riant. Wij raden dit verblijf meer dan aan en zullen als we in de toekomst hopelijk weer Sri Lanka mogen bezoeken zeker weer terugkeren naar Villa Samas. Dankjewel voor een bijzonder verblijf 🙏

Helemaal niets.

Le paradis sur terre. Une maison splendide dans un cadre incroyable. L'hôte est très serviable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette superbe maison. Le petit déjeuner était très bon également.

Notre seul regret est de n' y être resté qu'une seule nuit. Nous aurions aimé en profiter encore et encore

The villa is perfect, its beautiful inside and has everything you need, the pool has a wonderful view. The owner is by far the best host we had, he goes beyond everything to offer his guests a good experience! He drove us around for a tour and he offered us a delicious home made rice and curry wich was the best in our 5,5 week travel.

Clean, comfy, quiet.

New architectural marvel in a serene and private setting at the edge of a tropical jungle with the infinity pool overlooking an expansive natural paddy. The experience at Villa Samas was life changing for us not only due to the setting but mostly thanks to the sincerely gracious and kind hospitality of our exceptional host who lives on the ground level. The best of Sri Lankan family culture is generously offered here combined with an impeccable attention to detail and service. Sparkling clean inside and out. Location was close and convenient yet felt far away. Fully equipped kitchen allowing for home cooked meals or there are plenty of takeaway/delivery food options nearby. The delicious and generous breakfast is prepared downstairs and then lovingly served in your private kitchen with stunning jungle views-do not miss this experience! Also many excellent western style gourmet restaurants only 20 minutes drive to Galle Fort. AC works perfectly in both bedrooms each with its own terrace and nice views. Abundant tropical wildlife on display daily including wild peacocks, monkeys, parrots and birds of every description.

They wouldn’t let me stay forever 🥲

Amazing place in the rural area near Galle/Unawatuna, will a huge, private space with two beds and two bathrooms. Use of the pool is a huge perk. It’s incredibly peaceful, away from the business of Galle/Unawatuna and a lovely place to relax. Still only a 25’in journey / 1500LKR journey into Galle through a Tuk Tuk driver friend. Amila is a great host and would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

Right from picking us up from the airport after a cyclone greeted us with a huge delay and rain but still Amila was very patient enough as we were travelling with a newborn and a child. Photo’s absolutely don’t do justice to this beautiful place. Woke up a to a good skies day after a massive rainy night and we were woken up by peacocks and birds all around the villa. An amazing infinity pool into nature.Stunning views from the all rooms , balconies and bathrooms. Would definitely come back in the future. Not to forget the amazing food they serve for breakfast , lunch and their BBQ. Amila was the best in comforting us right from the start to end of our whole trip.
