Super emplacement à 2 pas des jardins impériaux, la petite maison est adorable, super déco traditionnelle mais aussi design, bon équipement, super literie, et une baignoire onsen magnifique taillée dans la pierre 😊 bref c’était merveilleux

La chambre du bas un peu difficile à chauffer

Casa spaziosa moderna e pulita, in zona ben collegata dai mezzi, circa 5 minuti a piedi da stazioni metro e bus Eravamo un gruppo di 6 persone e ci siamo trovati davvero bene, la consiglio!

Location, aesthetics, traditional experience.

The bathroom is not heated, there is a small electrical heater but it doesn’t heat up really. Very cold to enjoy a longer shower. But looked nice.

Beautiful traditional accommodation with plenty of space for a comfortable self sufficient stay of a family of four. We were just a couple and it was plenty big for us. Loved the little onsen in the bathroom. The towels are super soft and it has all amenities you may need. Location is super convenient yet in a quiet place. Gorgeous stay!

"Worth the extra money spent."

Our family of four loved staying here. A quiet part of Kyoto yet near the subway and authentic little eateries and Hive Coffee. The place is spacious with a beautiful bathroom and lighting. Very neat and tidy with Japanese detailings. Highly recommend.

Minor things, I was not sure where to dry our clothes, but they dried inside on the rack Provided fine.

A beautiful wooden house in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Well maintained and setup. We wished we could have stayed longer! Lots of food/grocery options around. You are also a 5 minute walk from the Imperial Gardens (a must see)!

It is a 20 min taxi or 30 min bus/subway ride to the more trendy/touristy parts of Kyoto. More clothing storage options and maybe a reading lamp in the tatami room. Be aware that you are on the main walking route to and from a University, so there should be an expectation of a little noise. If you are sound sensitive, bring ear plugs. Bigger taxi's might have a challenge picking you up or dropping off if you want front door service.
