Amazing location. Very well designed with everything you would need.

I didn't like having to leave 500 Euro in cash as a deposit.

The owner self cleans the unit and doesn’t allow you to check in until 5pm which is unacceptable. This same individual told me that 3 travelers can sleep in 2 beds, which is absolutely ridiculous. If I rent the entire unit I should be able to sleep where I want. We were 3 single guys in our thirties. We wanted him to make the beds in the loft and he pitched a fit, saying he would need two more hours to make two single beds. Initially he threatened to kick us out, and when I asked if this was because he wanted more money per night, he responded by telling me “no, this isn’t America, this is Italy…” This unit is amazing but the host is extremely OCD and rude. In case you think I’m embellishing the story, the restaurant directly across from his property refuses to serve him bc of a prior incident.

The best location in a historical building!

I was uncomfortable about making a cash deposit and we would not have had that much cash otherwise.

Location brilliant, interior beautiful, everything

Beautiful house with old and new combined & in very good condition. Great interiors and fabulous roof terrace with a view over the rooftops to the sea. We loved the location, on the cobbled streets behind the port, which was within very easy walking distance of all Hvar has to offer.

Consider check in and out times when booking this place. Due to the host’s fastidious cleaning regime, you are not able to check in until 5pm and must be out by 10am. You can leave luggage but as one of our group was unwell, this was a major inconvenience to us and we had to spend hours waiting in a bar. I would rather have the option to pay extra for cleaning support as the host repeatedly told us it takes 6 hours to clean in between guests.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay here. Severo did an incredible job renovating the space with a lot of detail and beautiful touches. It’s a gorgeous apartment just minutes walking from all of the major restaurants and sites. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone!
