Villa Cinta Umalas

I stayed here for eight days. Breakfast was nice and always delivered on time, which was a plus. The rooms were cleaned well every day and were a good size, with comfortable beds and good storage space. The pool was lovely, large, and well maintained, and the TV worked properly. The manager was very kind and professional. She respected our privacy, stayed out of the way, and only stepped in when help was needed. Communication was clear and reliable, and breakfast was organised smoothly each day. There were a few issues during the stay. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the shower water pressure was extremely low, more like a few droplets than a proper shower. One of the rooms also had a leak in the roof. There were ants throughout the rooms, and the doors had gaps around the frames, meaning the rooms weren’t very mosquito-safe. Privacy was limited as the walls didn’t go all the way up, so you could hear people in neighbouring rooms. Out of the three safes provided, only one was working. The location wasn’t inconvenient by car, but there weren’t many food options or essential shops within walking distance. Overall, the stay had some good features, but some maintenance and comfort issues affected the experience.

Beautiful and peaceful. Felt like our very own retreat. Very comfy beds, beautiful pool and garden kept well. Wayan was such a wonderful host and we are so grateful we stayed here and got to enjoy her beautiful breakfasts!

Beds are extremely cheap and uncomfortable, they were so hard they left bruises when we would lay on our side. The kitchen lights didn’t work. The 3rd bedroom smelt like sewage due to sewage coming up drain in bedroom shower, and we found fire ants crawling in some of the beds. All of this however was not in Wayans control. She was amazing and did absolutely everything to keep us happy.
