Cozy 2-bed villa with pool 5 mins to finns beach

The villa is in a fantastic location. We found the kitchen had all the items that we required and the house keeping was of a high standard. The bedrooms were amazing and the beds are super comfy.

The property was in a good location

When we arrived the living area had not been cleaned. There was old rat excrement on the kitchen table and on the counter tops, I would have cleaned it myself but there was no cleaning products supplied. The bathrooms were pure filth, which we could not use. So the first night was spent in a very unclean environment which cost us $200nzd. The owners never offered any realistic form of compensation and the following day the cleaners were in so we could not enjoy this day either. The courtyard is run down as is the majority of the villa. Don’t bother there are better properties out there, the photos are clearly from when the villa was new and are in no way an accurate representation of what you are paying for.

Location was convenient and the host was very responsive whenever any service was requested. We had requested for airport pick up and breakfast service which was nice. Motorcycle rentals are available if needed

Facilities and cleanliness felt under maintained. On the outlook, sheets were clean and the place was tidy. However, most of utensils/crockery in the kitchen felt really dusty. Even the dish rack needed a good scrub before we could use it. The villa generally had a lot of mosquitos. It would have been good if more repellants were provided or even wall diffusers. We were supplied mosquito coils but only with one coil holder which wasnt enough to cover 2 bedrooms and the lounge area, insect repellant bottle (for topical use) was broken, the mosquito spray was also empty when we got there. Good thing the host got the spray replaced immediately but it didnt quite help with the situation. The aircon also leaked really badly the night before checking out, it created a big puddle right in front of the bathroom door. There wasnt much we could do about it except putting a floor mat underneath seeing we were checking out the next morning.

The sofa is very very dirty & everything is dusty and ancient. And there’s a lot of flies & mosquitoes. The location is very far & dark. The toilet light is not working. The host is not there to welcome us and no clear instruction was provided on how to access the property.

Great location, clean, having a free personal assistant was amazing! It was spacious and very good for the price we paid. Beds were comfortable!
