Villa Padi staff are very nice. You can see that they try their very best to help their clients, they always serve with a smile. They efficiently helped me organise the details and decoration for my husband’s birthday. The communication was always available.

Unfortunately our stay overall was not as we expected. Here are a few points: 1. Property doesn’t look like the photos: There is major construction going around Canggu. The Villa is surrounded by multiple constructions, these makes rest not possible from at least 8am onwards and there is 0 privacy with workers from constructions having a lot of visibility to the property. It’s understandable that it is not Villa Padi’s fault, however I was unable to see this mentioned in booking and pictures show beautiful rise fields that do no longer exist. When given the feedback to the Manager her answer was ‘No other customer has had issues with this’ - This shows her lack of understanding and respect for customers feedback. 2. Breakfast is not as the pictures: The staff try to do their best but is evident that they need training on how to cook breakfast. Taste is very very average. I also saw them put milk in the scrambled eggs without telling us - A few of my friends are lactose intolerant. 3. The Villa appears clean however hygiene is questionable: I saw a staff member clean the kitchen with a very dirty cloth. Towels provided were very stained and sometimes had a bad smell. At times the kitchen and bedrooms had a bad smell after mopping. 4. Due to construction water was damaged: this was fixed upon noticed in the shortest time possible. 5. Manager is unprofessional when provided feedback: When this feedback was provided to the manager she got very defensive as we requested for her to return an extra payment we had made for an extra guest (despite the Villa being advertised to fit 8 people). However this could be understandable since they would have to service one more person and provide breakfast. We asked for the extra money back as the quality of the service was lacking and we often had to sort breakfast on our own. She accused us of ‘taking advantage’ and immediately after of damaging a tap.

Big property, a lot of rooms and beds very spacious.

Property is stunning, big spacious areas, great kitchen, lovely pool and garden. Master suite exceptional with extra sitting room. Lots of different areas if you want some quiet time. Hosts were terrific.

It’s a little remote from from shops or food and we had a problem with the hot water upstairs.
