Villa Puri Burung

We loved the large bedrooms and that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The pool and garden area were beautiful and there were multiple areas to unwind and relax from busy Canggu. We thought the family living onsite were so kind and helpful, making us coffee each day, and their beautiful dog Montu was very popular with our group.

Peaceful and a stunning location . Friendly staff , nothing too much trouble . Very clean and well managed. Facilities excellent.

Tucked away down an alley way with very uneven footings . Difficult to drag suitcases down.

The staff (and dog) who were absolutely excellent. Very friendly and super efficient. The pool was just the right size, and cleaned every day , the bedrooms all with en suite. Living room TV with Netflix for the 2-year-old (Cocomelon watched every day). Lovely big modern Sharp fridge freezer. The laundry service offered by the staff was first-rate and cheap! Loved the large kitchen and patio tables for family dining (we were a party of 6 adults + a 2 Yr. Positioning was good for restaurants, bars & supermarkets, but we found traffic to be very heavy 24/7. Again, this is mot the fault of the Villa or Booking.Com but an honest observation. All in all, it was an excellent holiday. Would we go back? Yes, provided the access road is sorted and the wiring dealt with.

The portable aircon unit in the living room kept tripping the electric.In the end, we did not have it on. Extractor fan not working over the hob. Dining room fan socket hanging off the wall with bare wires showing. Kitchen cooking knives all require replacing. All we're either is falling apart or blunt. The roadway down to the villa requires modernising. If we had not pressed our minivan driver hard, he would have left us at the top on the main road with our suitcases, stroller, and mobility scooter. There were also building works next door which is no way the fault of Booking.com but we feel that this should have been mentioned as we were awakened to the sound of a cement mixer on more than one occasion, with the sound of building works continuing throughout the day. All in all, although there were a few negatives, we had a great holiday and would recommend the Villa to others... With a caveat. The Villa does require some modernisation. The wiring needs to be updated, and proper A/C requires fitting downstairs. The biggest downfall is access. The road down to the villa itself is....Appalling and requires urgent work. We were almost left at the top of the road with all cases, stroller, and a mobility scooter because of the poor access road. This needs serious investment for the Villa to move forward. Perhaps the new Villa complex being developed next door could share the cost?

Amazing villa. Is even better in real life than it looks in photos

The villa was very spacious, can easily fit up to 9 people. Also very well decorated. All the small details really make the villa look very luxurious and beautiful. Very clean and cleaned daily by the friendly and helpfull staff (they made us lovely coffee in the morning). Lovely garden and big pool. The villa is close to the main road, easy to get taxi's and a nice spa next door. Overall good location and nearby different restaurants, beach bars etc. Absolutely amazing food nearby. Everything you would expect from an amazing villa in Bali and more. We would love to come back and stay here for a few weeks.
