Perfect swimming pool:)

We recently spent a relaxing stay in Palermo at this four‑bedroom scenic villa. Though we arrived in the evening and experienced a two‑hour power outage, the host’s prompt response made all the difference. He immediately provided LED portable lanterns, allowing us to settle in comfortably. By the time dinner rolled around, the electricity returned—right on time. Two bedrooms each featured a double bed plus a single, offering comfort. The third bedroom was a double room. The fourth bedroom was located in the basement behind the property—perfect for anyone wanting their own space (including WC). All rooms had air conditioning, which was a welcomed relief in the warm Sicilian evenings. Kitchen: Fully equipped with utensils and cookware necessary to prepare delicious meals whenever we felt like dining in. A fabulous shared pool with a diving board, shared with just two or three other villas, offered stunning views of the mountains and the sea. The pool felt huge, and the backdrop was simply breathtaking. Plenty of outdoor space surrounded the villa—ideal for sunbathing, lounging, or relaxing in the shade. Despite the unforeseen power outage, the host’s quick thinking and preparedness ensured minimal disruption—truly impressive hospitality. Generous guest space and thoughtfully appointed bedrooms made this villa ideal for a small group or extended family. The pool area, with its diving board and scenic vistas, was easily the highlight of our days. 15-20min from the airport :)

This property was absolutely lovely—spotlessly clean and full of charm. The highlight is the expansive pool, complete with a diving board and an impressively deep end, perfect for hours of fun and relaxation. The outdoor space is equally inviting, featuring a well-equipped BBQ area, a cozy hammock, and a large dining table ideal for alfresco meals. Plus, the rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings.

The only challenge we encountered was getting to the shops, as a car is definitely necessary. There aren’t any pavements, which made walking a bit tricky and potentially unsafe—so next time, we’ll be sure to hire a car!

The pool was fantastic - although there was shared access to it with other guests, we found ourselves having exclusive use of it for the entire duration of our stay. Also the villa is quite spacious which suited us well with kids etc.

We travelled in two separate groups across a period of 10 days - one group arriving initially and staying for 5 nights (2 adults, 1 child), the other group arriving three days after the first group and staying for 7 nights (4 adults, 1 child). This meant that both groups only overlapped for two nights. Yet we were charged for both groups staying the entire 10 days. Felt this was very unfair. We also requested a late check-out for the 2nd group as their flight was not until late at night - but this was declined. Again, felt this was very poor service especially given that we had been excessively charged.

We didn't see that the pool was a shared space with other guests in the listing. Also, the third bedroom that we were counting on using didn't have air conditioning when it was 101F outside so we had to sleep on the couch.
