Calm, cleanliness, hospitality, location.

The hospitality of the host was overwhelming; they waited for me late in the night (11 pm) after severe arrival delay. Very quiet residential area.

It seems like good value for money, I couldn't find a private room and shower for this price anywhere else. The hosts were very helpful and attentive, much more so than I expected. The owner called a restaurant for me and asked if they were open because I was going late at night. One important note is that it was quite clean, which is not guaranteed at this price.

Room looked run down, with cracks and holes in the wall. The room was also tiny. The bed was just a thick blanket on a wooden support, no mattress. Slept ok but overall did not feel comfortable in the room. Room is only good for sleeping in, and best for short stays.

I love staying here. It felt like living in a movie. The healthy breakfast served was the best!

This property is 84 years old and located in Hyewha, a fairly central location in Seoul known for its theatres and art galleries. It's not a hotel but actually a family home with parts turned into an apartment and a single room. Traditional Korean Hanoks are based around a central courtyard, accessed by a gate. The rooms all have doors facing into the courtyard. The owners are friendly and speak good English. The one person room I stayed in was compact, well equipped, comfortable, and competitively well priced compared to sleazy "love motel" alternatives.

The room was tiny, though well designed and comfortable to sleep in, but I wouldn't want to do anything more than sleep there. It bothered me that the door couldn't be locked from inside.

Authenticity, location, hosts. Reminded me of of caravansary hotels in Khiva, but it's much smaller The shared garden encourages conversations with other people, and I did enjoy it
