Lily Lane Villas

I was blown away by this place. So lovely. So exciting to have a private pool. Very exotic. The staff were sublimely sweet and helpful. They made me feel safe and at home.

recommended a tour guide that was not a good experience. I think they will learn from that.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. The room was lovely. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was lovely and there was a purpose built gap in the roof where the rain would come through to water the plants that were growing in the bathroom - it was a nice touch. The open air kitchen/lounge area was large and the private swimming pool was exceptionally large, which means our family of 2 adults and 2 kids could all splash around and had a great time. Jillian - the co-owner - made the effort of purchasing a ball and floaty boards for our kids to play with in the pool and it was the best thing ever! They played with that ball for literally hours!

The location wasn't great. We would have liked to be closer to some shops. Felt a bit isolated. The entrance is a bit hidden and not what you'd expect. Didn't realise the breakfast is only 2 pieces of toast and fruit or juice (the juice and fruit was very tasty). I should have checked before booking as my family really love cooked buffet breakfasts - so that was my fault. Luckily they have a restaurant, so we were able to order eggs, sausages etc.

My family really love the villa. The staff and the owner is very kind and friendly. They all assist and provide our needs. How we wish we could stay longer!

Location is wonderful heart of the Ubud and near to restaurants/bars. Staff were awesome they were really helpful. Kitchen was fully equipped. Not too much mosquitos and clean pool.

Breakfast could be better

Wow!!! Villa 8 was beautiful, all repurposed wood. Thoughtful little touches throughout. View out to the garden was superb. Fabulous bath, always a bonus, and being fully self-contained, I didn't want for anything. The Staff, Agung, Cindy, and crew were so warm and welcoming.....and the walk from Lily Lane to the restaurants and surrounds was meandering and beautiful!

The continental breakfast was average. Only white toast offered, and some fruit. Maybe, different bread options would be great! And a savoury spread for toast, not just jam. But as I like to enjoy traditional food, it wasnt a big deal.

Very convenient that we could order food into the villa all day. The antique villa was very beautiful with good taste in interior. The garden was very nice as well. Helpful staff. It's very quiet and with a taxi you are quickly in Ubud. The villa is spacious.

Our bedsheets were not changed in the 8 days we were there. It's normal that there are insects and lizards but it was not always cleaned well (e.g. lizard poop in the bathrooms, insect eggs under the table for several days)
