Motovun Villas

Das Haus ist groß und schön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind bequem und die Klimaanlage hat in jedem Zimmer funktioniert. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der schöne Pool, der Billardtisch und die Tischtennisplatte. Auch den Grill haben wir öfter benutzt. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr gut gefallen und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit 7 Personen.

The view of the mountains were definitely my favourite part of this villa. Pool had lights for when it got dark which was great. The villa was lovely and clean.

Jedes der vier Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und die Möbel am Pool sehr gemütlich. Der Empfang von Lua war besonders nett und er war bei Fragen immer sofort erreichbar. Am Abreisetag durften wir länger im Haus bleiben.

Insgesamt war das Haus sehr feucht. Eines der beiden kleineren Schlafzimmer hat starken Schimmelgeruch. Es gab nicht genügend Besteck für 8 Personen, obwohl es acht Betten gibt. Am Pool fehlen Schirme und den auf den Bildern versprochene Tischtennistisch gab es nur bei den Nachbarn. Ganz besonders störend sind die beiden Hähne in der Nachbarschaft, die ab 5 Uhr morgens krähen und auch den ganzen Tag über. Dazu kommt ständiges Hundegebell und Maschinengeräusche der Nachbarn.

Perfect size for two families of 4 as it was spacious, well laid out and had plenty of seating. Everyone was kept very well entertained by the pool table, table football, darts and the swimming pool (which was very clean). Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was great, and the beds were comfortable. The property is located in a peaceful hamlet with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We loved spending time by the pool or on the covered terrace enjoying the peace and quiet. Motovun is a short 20 minute walk away to the car park at the bottom of the hill where you can catch a shuttle bus if you don’t fancy walking up the hill. If you’re lucky, you may get parked in Motovun itself if you drive up there. There’s a well stocked small supermarket next to the car park which was very handy. Pula and Rovinj were just over an hour’s drive away and we visited both in the same day. The Istrialand water park is an easy 20 minute drive away and the kids enjoyed a great day there. There’s plenty of opportunities to do some wine tasting, including one which is a 3 minute walk from the villa, up the hill (Vina Fachin). Luka from the Motovun Villas team was very friendly and helpful, and was very responsive in helping to resolve an issue that we had right at the start of our stay.

The kitchen could have been better stocked with more crockery, cutlery and glassware to better accommodate 8 people, especially when we were having barbecues.

Very roomy! All bedrooms have its own bathroom which was very nice.

Amazing Villas - well situated, appointed and equipped. Spacious, superb standard, great management - responsive and supportive, pool and outdoor ares are perfect for relax, fun and meals with lovely views and nice breeze. This is the perfect spot for group of family, friends or business get-together (we had both Villa Sauvignon and Malvasia) whilst exploring the best Istria has to offer - truffle-hunt, vineyards, medieval villages, hiking, pretty costal towns with excellent beaches! Istria is fantastic <3 Helpful tip to future visitors. We love to BBQ and the out door space (sink and BBQ next to terrace) was PERFECT but we are not use to coal/briquets so helpful tip is that it takes much longer time to get good glowing heat with charcoal then gas so plan your outdoor meals accordingly :). If you never been in Croatia and Motovun area a helpful tip is to bring/buy mosquito repellent for body and outdoor use Also check that AC works in all bedrooms directly on arrival, incase something needs to be fixed - even though the Villas are very new and great standard they are huge so technical issues can happen.

The inside of the villa was clean and well stored for cooking and a comfortable stay.

The pool was not cleaned for some time, it was green and full of algee. The maintenance guy arrived the next day. The air conditioni in 1 room was not working.
