Alami Villa

The view was breath taking, better than what the photos and videos show. The villa beautiful with every comfort you could want and a very relaxing atmosphere. And the staff absolutely exceptional, very friendly and they anticipated our every need and nothing we asked was too much. I felt sad when we had to leave, as if I was saying farewell to family and not people I only met 7 days ago.

There was nothing I did not like about the property or service.

Everything! as mentioned in prior reviews photos do not do justice to the beauty of both the house and location. The staff were exceptional. Each time we returned from outings we were “welcomed back home”. And that is exactly how we felt at home safe, well cared for and totally spoilt (yummy breakfasts and dinner with local chef). Alami and staff you will always have a special place in our hearts.

Alami Villa definitely exceeded our expectation. The villa architecture is traditional but yet with all the modern comfort and effortlessly blends into its lush tropical forest and gentle river. It looked even more gorgeous in person than online. As a family of 8, the Four bedroom villa was super comfortable, each bedroom comes with its own attached bathroom, some with outdoor shower. It is situated at a cul-de-sac in a Balinese village so it is quiet, peaceful and as a bonus, we also got to see the real Bali village life. The warm hospitality and service provided by the villa team led by Putu gave our stay a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend Alami Villa to any large group seeking a relaxed and comfortable local experience in Ubud.

Alami Villa is all about the staff and service. We are grateful to Mr Sang Putu Ardana for accommodating all our requests and for being a caring and dedicated host. We are also thankful for all the wonderful staff at the villa who made our stay so memorable. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and we felt their kindness and hospitality.

The villa itself is showing it's age and there seemed to be a perpetual dusty/musky smell in the rooms. As much as the staff try their best maintaining cleanliness of the rooms, they do so with limited equipment. We were also a little concerned if the air-conditioning is maintained as one of them is actually installed in a bathroom - a planning issue in the initial construction. Perhaps it's time to consider a refurbishment of the villa.

I booked this accommodation on the strength of other reviews. I expected a wonderful experience instead I got an exceptional experience from the host and all staff. Sang Putu is the main host and nothing is too much trouble. His professionalism, experience, helpfulness, courtesy and happy demeanour were amazing. The staff, Kadek, Made, Koming, Komang, Cesti were all amazing as well. It was a family holiday and all of us agreed it was the best holiday we have had. It had the perfect blend of relaxation but outings when we requested. A wonderful recommendation for a cooking class, a bike ride in the fields, a masseuse to attend at the villa, a chef (Putu) to cook and teach in the villa and plenty of uninterrupted pool and laying around time. To top it all off the breakfast everyday was excellent with loads of fresh fruit, banana pancakes, eggs etc. To Sang Putu and all the staff thank you for an amazing and memorable holiday we will not forget. PS We are already saving for the next one.

Absolutely nothing

Alami Villa is the perfect destination for a group or family holiday. The property is absolutely stunning, tranquil and relaxing. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Lots of lovely touches from the baths filled with flowers to the fridge of endless Bintangs.

the accommodation is magnificent, the staff impeccable. we just stayed at the villa with a group of friends and our whole stay was like Paradise in heaven. the staff is super super friendly and accommodation, breakfasts delicious with local touches, hygiene is off the top, …. if you are looking for a place near Ubud, in the midst of nature, private, relaxing, high quality for reasonable price don’t look any further and nook Alami Villa. you will not regret it. the manager was a professional concierge in his previous life and will arrange all you excursions and drivers.
