Filia Stone Villa

The property was beautiful with stone work that made it look like a castle. The garden with all of the roses and plants attracted butterflies and dragonflies and made us feel like we were living in a dream. The pool was perfect. The bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were really comfortable.

Liked everything. Though I would highly recommend hiring a car. The shop is only 800ms down the road but the road is not suitable to walk on.

Fantastic house for a big family group. Plenty of bathrooms and two kitchens/multiple dining areas and lovely gardens and pool. Great location for all the best beaches.

We had a great stay at Folia Stone Villa. The location is very good, with easy access to beautiful beaches, the aqua park, and Corfu town. The garden and pool are excellent, providing a relaxing and private space to enjoy the outdoors. The rooms are nice and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to unwind after exploring the island. Overall, a wonderful villa for a relaxing holiday in Corfu. Very helpful and friendly staff.

the exterior was wonderful. amazing pool and outdoor space. was everythign we wanted.

the interior was very basic. clean and nice, but not more than that. was a bit basic for the proce we paid. I was expecting more modern and new interior.

The place was lovely and very comfortable for our large family. Pool and external grounds were lovely and the hosts were very helpful and responsive to our questions and provided nice reccommendations.

The general area where the property is located is not the most beautiful and the nearest town of Gouvia is not as nice as many other places in Corfu. However it is close to the airport and easy to access many beautiful beaches.

The different outdoor spaces were particularly delightful, offering various spots to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. - Immaculate Pool and Gardens: The outdoor area is pristine, with a well-maintained pool and lush gardens that were a joy to spend time in. - Great Location: The location is ideal, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to local attractions and beaches. Zoi, one of the staff members, provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants, and each one was spot-on. - Efficient Air Conditioning: The air conditioning system was highly effective, cooling the villa quickly and efficiently, which was a relief during the warm Corfu days. - Lovely Staff: The staff at Filia Stone Villa were wonderful—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help.

While our stay was fantastic, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved: - Cleaning Service: The cleaner did a good job overall, but they only came every twice during our 7 day stay and didn't always clean everything, such as leaving some dishes unwashed. More frequent and thorough cleaning would have been appreciated, particularly to empty the bins. - Supplies: We noticed that there weren't enough dishwasher tablets, and there were no spare bin bags provided. Additionally, there were no condiments like salt, pepper, or olive oil available, which would have been useful. Also, having a dishwasher downstairs would be a great addition, especially for larger groups. - Recycling: There were no recycling facilities, which was a bit disappointing. Providing a system for recycling would be a welcome improvement.

Well appointed villa with plenty of room for a large group. Beautifully kept house and garden. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Would have been difficult to get a round if we hadn't hired cars as is a little out of the way but that's not down to the property - it was our choice.

Had prior conversations with Zoi via WhatsApp, she was extremely helpful. Check in time was at 4pm and we had arrived earlier, she gave us recommendations of where we could go in the mean time. She met us at the property and gave us a tour of the place. The Villa was amazing, 3 floors with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens. Everything was clean and tidy and we had an amazing time. There was AC in every room which was nice as it was so hot and the pool outside was amazing. There is also a BBQ which we took advantage of. The town of Gouvia at the bottom is nice, some good bars and restaurant and the marina was nice also to visit. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill also for any supplies needed and a lidl about a 10min drive away.

The villa is located on a tight right turn however both on google maps and waze it does take you directly there. The road itself after taking the right turn was hard as its very broken down so had to be extremely careful and slow and finally the WiFi was not good as it did drop randomly almost every time.
