Villa Shasya Costa Adeje with air conditioning

The villa was stunning and met all expectations. The photos do not do it justice! It was secure and had plenty of amenities. All the rooms were clean and the pool area was lovely.

No comment on the villa its self but the location is the only thing to comment on. It was quite far from the lively areas of Tenerife South but it was easy to get Taxis, 10-15 mins to costa adeje and las americas.

Beautiful property with all the amenities you could need.

Building works next door!

We have stayed twice in this villa. The first time was in December and weather in Tenerife was not that warm. This villa was perfect. The huge windows let in plenty of light. The house warmed up nicely, and the western facing terrace was the most pleasant place to be. The heated, covered pool was superb.

The second time we stayed there was in October, the weather was hot, and for the same reasons it was so nice in cold temps - huge windows, western facing - the house was practically uninhabitable. We tried all combinations, opening windows and closing curtains. There is no air conditioning. Indoor temperatures reached 36C - I have attached a picture. Even during the night, you would go to sleep it was 31C and during the night it would only drop one or two degrees. I would say these temperatures were borderline dangerous for small children and elderly. We stayed 10 nights and I did not sleep well a single night. Every night, I went to sleep hugging a wet towel and thinking hmmm... 300 a night for this? They have cheap, portable fans that are loud and completely inadequate for the situation. Around 4PM the sun shined at such an angle, that there was no shade outdoors, on the terrace, and it was the hottest moment indoors. At that moment the house was literally uninhabitable, and we left every single day, until at least sunset.

We had our long waiting vacation at Villa Shasya. The house is wonderful and held us six grown-ups well. For me who builds houses for a living had a thing or two about finishing touch but that's just me. Over all the villa is a good resting place for everyone away from the party at the beach but close to it if you like to spend time there. Many superb restaurants in the area and short drive to malls and even more restaurants. Highly recommended from our group to spend time at Villa Shasya

Hosts met us personally upon arrival and showed us round, explaining how the kitchen appliances and tv worked.

Air con would be a bonus but fans in bedroom were good quality with a quiet night mode which made getting to sleep no problem.

The Villa was exactly like the pictures, plenty of space for all of us - hosts were great in helping us with an early arrival and cot for our daughter. Close enough to bars and restaurants. A bit hilly on the walk back up to the villa but manageable. Great heated pool, shaded seating outside as well as in the sun. the Villa had everything we needed, sea view, free wifi & a bunk bed in the bedroom which was great because it meant the kids weren’t far from us. We liked most, that the villa is completely inaccessible to anyone not staying there - ring door bell, locked gated access from outside and all of the doors couldn’t be opened from the outside. it was safe to leave doors etc open when out/asleep due to the outside being very secure with the gates.

The rooms at night were ridiculously hot due to no aircon in the property. However, fans were available & each bedroom has doors out onto a balcony that we could leave open during the night.
