The sound of the pines at night.

We are not new to these properties…didn’t need constant communication from host and/or booking. Alexa didn’t seem to go in this property. I would get rid of that.

"Lovely stay in the country"

This is such cute home. Perfect for a family or a couple. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with lots of cool vintage appliances. Great outdoor patio! We enjoyed swinging in the hammock and being in a quite neighborhood surronded by nature. Oh and the clawfoot tub was excellent!

You'll have to climb some stairs to get to the home. Nothing crazy, but if you are travelling with anyone who has trouble walking this may present an issue. Also the bathroom is located in one of the bedrooms, so of you're travelling with friends they'll have to walk through the room to get there.

Such a perfect spot to enjoy the stars. Easy hike to the abandoned mine. Easy drive to the desert. And a cozy place for our family to stay in between. We loved it! We will be back.

Everything was wonderful! A real time piece for sure! It has been taken care of such that it captures the era it was built with the comforts of modern day. The wood stove worked great for the cold nights. It does have heat/AC but we really enjoyed the warmth of a fire. The history of the cabin and the family who owns it is well documented; just look around and you’ll see it! The owners are so pleasant and accommodating. Note that if you have a bad back, you may want to bring a foam topper for the beds. this is not a complaint. They are comfy for a back that is healthy, but it’s a little “springy” for one that is not. I can’t wait to return!
