Villa Krokali Lindos

Magnifique villa à quelques minutes de Lindos et de la belle plage de galets Vlycha Beach. Chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Piscine incroyable.

Great location. Felt rural as there was a lot of open space about us and nice to have mountain view. Easy drive to beach and Lindos. Also close to decent supermarket, bakery and grill which was very convenient. Nice to have plenty of open space - olive grove so we didn't get any noise from other people. There is some traffic noise especially during peak times but quiet at other times. Nice big terrace for all of us to sit around to eat dinner. Good having washing machine and place to dry clothes. Nice pool with plenty of sun beds. Nice welcome hamper.

Pillows were not comfortable. Kitchen is small and without a dish washer. So when there are 11 of you that is a lot of washing up to do. No salt, pepper or anything like. We were given olive oil so that was helpful.

Great location, pool is perfect, house is clean and spacious.

If I have to identify any disadvantage, the beds aren’t much comfortable.

The size of the villa was perfect for a large group. We travelled in a group of 9 and we had space to have privacy or large seating and eating areas for us all to be together It was perfect The pool was large and we had plenty of loungers and umbrellas to relax together and have lots of fun. No time restrictions on when you can use the pool which we all loved. The location was fabulous seclusion enough to beable to not disturb anyone or be disturbed but close enough to reach shops and the beach by foot . The bus stop to Lindos and other areas is a 5 minute walk and takes another 5 minutes to Lindos which is beautiful. The owner Elina was at the villa to greet the first to arrive and to explain everything we needed to know . She was very responsive through the holiday with any queries or general advise we needed. We had a generous welcome pack of goodies on out arrival which was greatly appreciated. A perfect holiday and fabulous owners.

Perfect pool for 6 kids and 8 adults. Plenty bedroom space. The absolute winner however was Elina and her husband/ friends who took care of the whole group during wildfire problems in Lindos.

Kitchen was a little small for our large party but we managed. Not the property’s fault but the wildfires caused electricity blackouts and a short period (24 hours ) without water. However we had no hot water for the whole week despite switching on water heater.( not sure if this was a consequence of the wildfires)

I booked the villa with a group of 14 people and I can really just say that everything was amazing. - The villa itself is of course great for such a big group, with 6 separate rooms each having a bathroom (and even a mini fridge!), a big pool and of course lots of space in general for so many people to spend time together. I particular, we always enjoyed having our meals and sitting together at the big table on the entrance terrace. - The location was also quite convenient (as we didn‘t have any rental cars, we were a bit worried about this). The main takeaways are the big supermarket and nice bakery that are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a bus stop even closer to the villa with good bus connections to Rhodos City, Lindos and other major towns in Rhodos. Lastly the beach of Vlycha is just a comfortable 20 minute walk from the villa. At the same time, it was great to have a slightly isolated location where we weren‘t bothered by anyone else. - The best part of the whole booking process was probably the host couple. From the beginning of the trip we were always in contact with them, they answered every single message within a few minutes and we always just felt very welcome. Any problems or questions were also quickly addressed and something like a non functioning AC was fixed within half a day of asking. Overall, we really couldn‘t have booked a better location for our trip and I would recommend the villa for any larger group visiting Rhodos.
