Classic Villa in Beato Lisbon

Excellent the host left them in a safe, but came in person and handed them over just when we arrived

Location was great, but a little away from the center, either a good walk or Uner needed

We had a fantastic time in this villa. The place is beautiful and very unique. It is also in an interesting neighborhood full of character and art, also easy access to many other places. Walking distance from Azulejo museum which we enjoyed very much.  What made it even more special for us was that the owner Jorge is so lovely and really helpful and made us feel very welcomed not only to their place but to Portugal itself.  We would definitely love to stay here when we visit Lisbon again and would recommend to anyone! The apartment is a charming, renovated house with a heart. It has a truly unique style and nice vibes overall. It is very spacious, with three seperate bedrooms. I also liked the blue colour on the walls. What was truly exceptional, was our hodt Jorge who made everything so we would be comfortable and even made possible an earlier check in, which really helped us. We thank him for all the suggestions and care! :)

Upon arrival there were small spiders on the bed - possibly coming from the roof, and we had problem with ants in the kitchen.

The house is a three-bedroom, two level, on street old building that has been tastefully renovated by the host and his wife. Parking is free and usually available either on the same or opposite side of the two-way street right in front of the main door of the house. The house has a high ceiling, and an interesting Japanese stair leading to one bedroom and bathroom in the attic. There are a lot of unique artefacts around the house, reflecting the artistic tastes of the hosts. Heater is also provided. When we visited it was just after a week of storms, and though the weather was nice, it was very cold for us, around 12 to 14 degrees celsius. There is a small backyard where you can enjoy the sun, sit on the chairs and table provided, and also dry the laundry that you wash using the washing machine which is located in a small room outside [detergents and hangers etc are thoughtfully provided by host, as we have had experiences with other hosts who did not provide detergents!] . The kitchen is fully equipped, with a big Fridge, Oven/grill, Microwave, Kettle, toaster, 4 burner stove, adequate contertop space in a L shape, and even an exhaust hood. All the necessary utensils, salt, pepper etc are also provided. Sugar may not be there, but the host will arrange what you need from the Lidl store nearby. If you wish to cook, it is also better to have some cooking oil, we bought a spray can from Lidl. We cooked our own breakfast after stocking up from the Lidl store, where you can get fresh bread and other items. The Host is very friendly and helpful. He also shares recommendations on where to go etc which are useful.

The dining room chairs are very interesting, but can be uncomfortable for some people. The bathrooms sometimes have a problem with the water backing up and overflowing the shower area if you take long showers, which I am told is because of the drainage, but that did not bother us.

This was one of the nicest apartments I’ve rented in Europe, and the property manager was there to greet us and was extremely friendly and nice and went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of and we understood everything about the area and things we can do and see. I would stay here again if I came to Lisbon. For the price, you will not get a better experience, especially if you were looking for a larger apartment with multiple rooms.

Very helpfull host. The Villa was comfortable and close to the city center - 30 minutes walk. If you don't want walk you can take a Uber.

The house was big, cute and well designed! We had everything we needed. Jorge was friendly and helped us with his advices.

Very spacious, well equipped, clean. What made our stay super enjoyable is the super hosting experience with Jorge.
