The staff was very friendly and I would especially like to mention the night porter. I often returned to the hotel very late, he was the only contact person in the evening and always helpful and you could have a very nice talk with him.

The staff were super friendly and their communication was great. Someone was available at all times to attend to our needs - this included arranging a tuktuk driver, taxi transfers and even a massage therapist straight to our terrace. The food was so delicious that we are going to be dreaming about it for a long time, we especially loved the breakfast. We felt absolutely spoilt having access to the pool and were lucky to be the only ones using it at the time of our stay. We saw monkeys and iguanas and lots of exotic birds and wildlife. If you’re looking for an peaceful jungle oasis with the kindest hosts, you should book this immediately :)

The hotel is right in the middle of the jungle and each room is a standalone bungalow so you really are not in the middle of tourists (and there are many in Galle). Rooms are very large and very well decorated, especially the bathroom, which is just amazing. It is super comfortable and very clean. The swimming pool is great. If you tell them in advance, they can cook lunch or dinner for you and it is excellent Sri Lankan. Breakfast was also very good and a mix of continental and Sri Lankan.

It is a little outside of Unawatuna and about 15 minutes from Galle so you need to take a tuktuk or a driver to go around. We did rent a scooter but that was a bad idea because you need a special license to drive a scooter in Sri Lanka and we kept being stopped by the police.

Breakfast service was very slow - 30 min wait at least from time we were seated. Chef just needs to be more timely - does not seem to aim for efficiency.

Great property. It has four beautiful bungalows/villas and a shared pool. The breakfast is delicious and changes every day. Near Galle and Unawatuna.

It was not a problem during my stay, so more of a recommendation. It would be nice if the pool had more than two lounge chairs. Considering the pool is shared between the four bungalows, having at least two more lounge chairs and an umbrella would have been nice.

SCAMM. Room was small, properties with the same conditions usually costs around 30usd. I paid 76usd. The only reason for such a price was bath. But we haven't got HOT water! It worked only 5minutes and then it was cold. So the bath was useless! Instead of having romantic evening I had to find night watcher, who was drunk, an asked for help. He turned on some tumbler and ask to wait 30 minutes. After it water was warm for 5 minutes more and then cold again. I tried to find watcher again but he wasn't there. In the morning instead of trying to resolve the situation manager of the property tried to make a fool of me. told us that we don't know how to turn on the hot water.... What a craziness... The owner of the property don't care about situation, promised to investigate the situation but never write again. In a nutshell, AVOID THIS PROPERTY Instead of romantic night was SCAMMED and OFFENSED by "manager", lost evening and money... Never again!

Extremely quaint, quiet jungle-style location. Lovely owner who was really awesome to talk to and made the effort with all guests. Friendly staff in general. Amazing pool. Comfy beds, good water pressure. Great proximity to Galle and Unawatuna. A/c worked well. Would recommend to anyone not wanting crowded party vibe. Myself and fiancée would stay here again in the future.

Food portions were a bit small and takes a long time to prepare. No mounted shower head on inside shower. No warm water on outside shower. Not enough pool loungers. Main area bathroom often dirty and without toilet paper.

Amazing location, very relaxing surroundings. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helped arrange airport pick up and tuk tuks for us. Room and bathroom were incredible. Breakfast was made fresh each morning and a great traditional Sri Lankan option. Thank you :)
