Casa da Terra - Gerês

We had a fantastic stay at Casa da Terra. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and has probably the best-equipped kitchen we've ever experienced in a holiday rental. The garden and pool are beautiful, and the peaceful setting surrounded by nature makes it the perfect place to relax. The location is ideal, not only is it quiet, but it's also a great base for exploring Gerês, with easy access to hiking trails, waterfalls, villages, and restaurants. The host was incredibly friendly and very responsive. We had a small issue on our second day, and it was resolved quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend Casa da Terra to families, couples, and groups of friends, really anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature with all the comforts of home.

The only suggestion for improvement would be to install insect screens on all bathroom windows, as there were quite a few fruit flies. Apart from that, everything was excellent.

We stayed during winter, and they turned the heater on in every room before we arrived, so everything was warm and cozy when we got there. The beds, couch, and chairs were super comfortable, and they even provided wood so we could light the fireplace. On top of all that, the views were amazing! Such a welcoming place — we’d absolutely stay again.

Incredible location and view. Very comfy house, with all the amenities. Clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time.

The problem with the dishwasher could have been fixed earlier. However, once we complained the machine was replaced.

As áreas verdes, a vista , e estar muito bem equipado no que diz respeito a cozinha/churrasco/máquinas de lavar louça e roupa

Piscina não tinha sido limpa antes de chegarmos. É aceitável haver teias de arranha e bastantes na parte exterior mas não é aceitável no espaço interior. Junto das janelas e cortinas muitas teias e insectos. Refiro isto porque o check out é bastante cedo (9:30) para que seja feita uma boa limpeza até que os próximos hóspedes entrem e assim sendo esperava-se algo mais cuidado.
