Podaca house

The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Overall, it met our expectations. What is absolutely amazing is the view of the sea from the apartment.

The house was perfect, so close to the beach, very spacious living area and a large terace deck. It has all you might need so you do not need to pop up to the supermarket straight away :-) So sad thoug we were only passing through, it would be nice to enjoy the serenity here, just taking some rest. Hope we can come back again.

Amazing view from the house and very clean and tidy inside. Communication with the host was also very clear and responsive. We'll come back again next year for sure!

the location is great the terrace is very good and spacious the bathroom is nice and modern overall the apartment is not bad but I had certain expectations that were not met (see the negative comments for details)

I have mixed feelings about that place. I was expecting it to be different, especially that it wasn`t at all obvious that the bedrooms are on the upper floor - total deal breaker for me as I have 2 toddlers. We met with the host personally and she never mentioned that, it is not visible on the picture in the listing as well. That said, the apartment is very small children unfriendly, the stairs are very steep and dangerous for the kids. Not to mention that the bathroom is on the ground floor (small wc on the upper floor, with the toilet only). A lot of things in this apartment are worn and old, like the beach seats on the balcony - an adult can hardly sit in them, they are too loose already. The owners are not there so you cannot simply ask where this or that is, you are pretty much on your own from the very first second, I had to write them messages (and they were not responding fast) or even call. For example, we didn`t know how to turn on the stove, turned out we had to turn the gas cylinder under the sink first - how on Earth could we have guessed that?! The stove is also very old and needs to be lighted with a lighter - 2 long lighters that were there were not working so I had to ask my husband to turn the stove on every time as I wasn`t risking to do it myself. Other necessities, like floor mops, were also in inobvious places and we had to write to the owners every singe time to be able to locate them. We paid for 5 people (specifically met with the owners to pay additionally for one more person 5 days before our check in date) but everything was prepared for 4 - towel sets, bed sheets etc. I specifically asked the owner if there is a grater in the kitchen and was ready to bring my own one, she said there is everything. Guess what - there was NO grater. The owner said that someone will show at the time of our checkout but nobody did, they only sent a message asking when we are planning to leave and we never heard from them since then.
