Casa Paraiso Tropical Torrox by Ruralidays

The view and location were great.

It was a really beautiful villa; however, we did encounter a huge problem that I think the owner didn’t want to deal with. After two nights spent in one of the rooms we saw that sth has bitten us. I wasn’t afraid cause I thought that those are mosquitoes and that everything will be fine. After three days we realised that’s not what we thought. It was really itchy and we went to the nearby pharmacy where they informed us that those are bed bugs. I was so scared that I took all of my belongings and I spent the rest of the stay in the living room with my hubby! We contacted the owner asap, but he only sprayed it with sth suggesting that it’s safe to sleep there. We are the only ones that were affected so I think that it may definitely spread soon. I still feel lucky that my parents and my brother-in-law’s children weren’t bitten as they slept in other rooms. I can only guess that this problem may escalate soon and I would think twice before coming here. What a shame! The views are stunning and it would be such a lovely trip if it wasn’t for itchy bites and rage that we can’t fully enjoy it. He did suggest that we may get some of our money back, but only when we go back to the room. We are not lab rats, so we just stayed in the living room.

Really good outdoor areas, well equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace. It was a really beautiful area.

It was a little bit of longway into stores for shopping and we missed a heated jacuzzi as we were there during Xmas.
