The location

My recent experience at Vila Zeno was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite confirming with the homeowner that we could check in at 10:00, we arrived to find that they had completely forgotten about our reservation( no heat). The key was nowhere to be found, and the state of the property was a far cry from the pristine and inviting image portrayed in the photos. The initial impression was shocking. Vila Zeno, which appeared beautiful and immaculate in the online pictures, was anything but. The entire place was dirty and emitted an unpleasant odor, making it clear that it had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. Additionally, we discovered a broken door window, doors that wouldn't close properly, and inadequate lighting, which all contributed to an overall feeling of discomfort and unease. Furthermore, the lack of heating in the property added to our discomfort, especially during our stay. After enduring an hour in these unsatisfactory conditions, we made the difficult decision to abandon our reservation and seek accommodation elsewhere. This unexpected turn of events forced us to book a hotel at the last minute, incurring additional expenses due to the homeowner's lack of responsibility and disregard for our confirmed booking. It's disheartening to note that we did not feel safe or comfortable staying in Vila Zeno, and the dire need for maintenance was evident in every corner of the property. In conclusion, the experience at Vila Zeno was utterly disappointing and distressing, and I strongly advise against anyone considering a stay at this property until significant improvements are made in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall professionalism. I hope that my review serves as a warning to potential guests and prompts the homeowner of Vila Zeno to address these glaring issues, ensuring a more positive and comfortable experience for future visitors.

The villa is located in a quiet and non-central place, a 6-8 minute drive from the center. A large, spacious villa, designed in a luxurious and clean style.

The central bathroom is spacious but problematic. There is no curtain for the bathroom and the water splashes on the floor. After a shower there is a risk of slipping on the bathroom stairs and in the room itself. The small bathroom needs an upgrade from the musty smell. There is not enough lighting and electrical points in the rooms for comfort. The washing machine did not work.
