KINARA in CAMBER

Kinara is a gorgeous property with plenty of space. Beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Excellent location in Camber. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect place for a group of friends to get together to relax and catch up. Thoroughly recommend this property at any time of the year.

Nothing at all to dislike about our stay

Position , so close to the beach, parking for up to 6 cars, wonderful garden if it had been summer, close to a lovely pub. Owners always answered any questions quickly

The location opposite the beach is amazing. There is loads of space for a large group - loads of seating (inside and out), parking and massive garden. There is a brilliant snug area the kids loved. Also the hot tub was a hit.

There was a major issue with damp in the back bedroom (we had a child in our group who 2 weeks before had been in hospital for 2 days following an asthma attack, so we were particularly sensitive to this). The walls were wet, and black damp marks on the curtains and wall - we would have appreciated being warned about this. The overall cleanliness of the plates / kitchen drawers / utensils was not up to scratch - and we all missed a proper mug rather than a metal beaker and the worn plastic champagne flutes were a let down to toast mum's 80th. The deck feels spongey and like it might give way.

The location was good. Easy to find the property. Very close to beech.

The location was superb. Very close to the dunes and beach. The hot tub kept everyone occupied when it drizzled. The children enjoyed the garden and play equipment. The BBQ area was situated in a lovely sunny area of the large garden. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped although a non stick pan would have been helpful when frying eggs and pancakes. The house easily easily big enough for the 9 of us. Parking was spacious.

The lay out of the house was rather strange. A layout of the floor plan is included in the info so you are forewarned. Using copper pipes for toilet roll holders and towel rails in the downstairs bathroom was not to our taste but it was functional and unusual. The large floor lamp in the upstairs bedroom Was very dusty but the rest of the house was clean. The door on the right hand fridge did not close properly. When we arrived, there was a puddle on the floor where the ice around the ice box had melted. Luckily, kitchen towels were provided so it was easily cleaned up. The fridge door not closing could be an issue in hot weather/ long stays.

Fabulous location, close to excellent beach, attractive Rye and fascinating Dungeness with its Nature Reserve and Jarman's Cottage. Quirky decor, lovely art, comfortable linen bedding. Spacious garden with play area for grandchildren. Loads of parking space. Hot tub and barbecue. Helpful, quick response from the owner on a couple of problems that arose at the beginning of our stay.

Some of the decor and furniture generally feeling rather tired. We were not keen on the copper bath tub (although this is perhaps personal taste) but its shower curtain needs cleaning or replacing. One bedroom smelt musty (maybe the wardrobe) and the single bedroom was a bit damp. Rather too much chipped crockery that simple needs removing.

Very comfortable house, plenty of room, comfortable beds, fantastic hot tub, great place to go away with friends! Fantastic location really near the beach

The location was lovely right next to the beach within walking distance. The house was quirky with its furniture which I liked. The hot tub was a nice size and the garden is big,so would be ideal if you have children with you.

The bbq could have been cleaned and left out in the garden for us to reach. We had to clean it before was used it and get dig it out from the side alley.
