The Doctor’s Mansion - Arkadia

Γενικά το σπίτι ήταν ωραίο, καθαρό και ευρύχωρο!

Δεν μου άρεσε η θέρμανση καθώς είχε κάτι μικρά σώματα και τουλάχιστον στην περιοχή του σαλονιού δεν μπορούσε να καλύψει τον χώρο. Το επόμενο που δεν μου άρεσε είναι η τοποθεσία, καθώς αν δεν έπαιρνες το αυτοκίνητο, είχε αρκετή ανηφόρα - σκαλοπάτια μέχρι να φτάσεις από το κέντρο του χωριού.

Old, well-preserved mansion in quiet area

House location not as indicated in the main village but a fifteen minute uphill trek or ten minute drive by car. The shower drain got clogged and filled with water.

Exceptional place with plenty of room in each floor (2-floor house), warm, welcoming, with amazing view. The dining room, living room, kitchen, dorms, were all great. The fireplace was amazing, they even let us some wood so we can use it these days. They guided us of course perfectly to the place. There was plenty of warm water and they even let us some book, guides, and board games if we wanted to play. We would choose it again if we wanted to visit the area there for sure.

+ The house is magnificent and beautifully furnished, with respect to the history and tradition of the village/area but with all modern comfort. + Beds were very comfy and the house is warm and cozy + The kitchen is well appointed with everything one might need + Very responsive hosts, did their best to handle minor issues. + Great location to explore the surrounding area.

Minor gripes, but: - The key lock box was jammed and took some effort to open, when communicating with the hosts it seemed to be a known issue. Eventually we managed to open it but it could have been smoother. - There was no kindling to light the fireplace on our arrival so we couldn't use it on our first night. The hosts promptly provided ample the next morning. - There was only Greek coffee for breakfast, no ground/filter coffee or Nescafe.
