The villa was very clean, very well equipped, the pool is large and very pampering, the villa is located so far that a car is required, but this is what we were looking for, a quiet beach within walking distance, we had a great time!

The villa is close to the airport - we heard planes from time to time but nothing disturbing/noticeable.

Nice rural location, near the beach and a lovely taverna. Beautiful property with excellent hosts and communication throughout. Spotlessly clean property with everything you could need for cooking, sleeping and holidaying. Very secure and comfortable. Pool is lovely and even the gardens clean and tidy.

pool was great and private although would be good to have it cleaned more regularly. beds were comfortable and air conditioning was good. WI-FI worked well. it was clean. Beach nearby was lovely.

I didn’t like that you don’t really know which Villa you are getting. The photos show a range of 4 (I think) different ones. even once booked it’s not clear which one is yours which I found to be a bit deceiving. I didn’t like that there are no shops, even a small mini mart near by to get daily provisions. I really didn’t like that no information is left for guests on anything that you generally need to know. such as things like: nearest shop, taxis, rough idea of cost of taxis to shops/Chania etc. Things to do in immediate area. Nearest restaurants and how far to walk to them. no instructions or information on what to do with rubbish. These are standard pieces of information left in any rented accommodation I’ve stayed in. Yes, when I asked I was told but I shouldn’t have to ask for these basic details. They should be left in a guest info book or file. The villa needs to be replenished with some basic things such as better chopping knives, glass ware and crockery. Simple things like hooks for towels in the bathroom/on back of doors in the bedrooms would help. I also really disliked that the shower handles were so low and couldn’t be hooked up above head height. Makes washing hair especially difficult.
