Jungle Retreat

La ubicación es buena, pero si el lugar en muy solo y puede generar un poco de temor ante una emergencia (robo, emergencia médica, etc). Los cuidadores personas muy amables.

Hubo llavines de puertas en mal estado que no cerraban, unas fugas de agua en el baño principal. Algunos toma corrientes en mal estado no sirven, el congelador de una de las refrigeradoras no congelaba. Ventiladores de techo no sirven. microondas en mal estado por dicha lo cambiaron. El internet es bueno pero a veces intermitente. Infraestructura un poco descuidada, hay que hacer algunos arreglos de la casa para que se vea más agradable a la vista, sobretodo por el precio que se cobra. Me parece que el precio que cobran ya debería contemplar la limpieza, que suelen cobrarlo aparte y durante la estancia nunca llegan hacer ningún tipo de limpieza. Hay que mejorar el camino para la entrada a la casa, a pesar de ir en 4x4 sería bueno arreglar un poco ese camino de lastre.

A very charming house in a unique and beautiful location. The spring fed pool was lovely. The property and beach were fun to explore with kids. The kitchen and bathrooms were mostly well-equipped (but make sure to bring extra trash bags, bath soap/shampoo, soap for hand-washing clothes, and cleaning spray/paper towels for messes.) The caretakers, Julio and Elena, were responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back!

Die Lage und die Finca sind großartig. Der Pool wird mit natürlichem Quellwasser gespeist was das Baden sehr angenehm macht. Vor Ort kann günstig eine Delfintour mit Diego gebucht werden, die sehr zu empfehlen ist!

Wenn man kein Spanisch spricht, ist die Kommunikation vor Ort nicht ganz einfach. Die Kommunikation vorab funktioniert auch auf Englisch sehr gut.

Our stay at Jungle Retreat was truly magical. The house is stunning, and the location is unique. It’s truly a retreat with no sounds other than toucans, crickets, and macaws. You can spend days there without encountering another person or seeing any cars. From the house’s veranda, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, with incredible sunrises. About 100 meters from the house, there’s a practically private, paradisiacal beach. The sea is very warm, with gentle waves, making it perfect for peaceful swimming. The house is very spacious and offers great privacy for two couples. The common areas and the well-equipped kitchen are incredibly enjoyable. The nearest house belongs to the caretakers, Elena and Julio, who were incredibly hospitable and always willing to help. There’s no hot water in the bathrooms, but it really wasn’t necessary. The pool was clean and well-maintained, with a continuous flow of spring water keeping it fresh and at a comfortable temperature. The house has a Starlink connection that works wonderfully. There’s no air conditioning, but the fans were sufficient, and at night, we slept very comfortably. The driveway from the main road to the house is about 300 meters and can be a bit challenging if the car has low clearance—I recommend using a high-clearance vehicle, ideally a 4x4. A few kilometers toward Puerto Jiménez, there’s a supermarket where you can buy essentials and food. Our experience at Jungle Retreat was wonderful, and the name suits it perfectly

Only bad thing was, almos the whole 🔌 plugs inside kitchen area dot not worked. So we have to figure the way way worked thing up ( bring so wares extension)
