My wife and I could have basically stayed at any number of hotels etc. however, we chose to stay at the Retiro da Praia da Aguda as the style of accommodation and general vibe really appealed to us. In addition, we appreciated the proximity to the seashore and some of the towns like Porto and Braga we planned to visit during our stay. The Retiro da Praia da Aguda can sleep up to four (one double bed and two single), has a kitchenette, air conditioning, an outside seating area as well as two sunbeds. Everything is immaculately clean, well equipped and organized. Emilia is a wonderful host - she went above and beyond, making our stay as pleasant as humanly possible. Emilia has a wonderful eye for details and pays great attention to the furnishings which my wife and I both appreciated. Regarding the layout of the Retiro da Praia da Aguda: it is worth pointing out that this type of accommodation is best suited to people who are at ease in a small but nice holiday home similar to a cozy setup you would often find in the Netherlands or Germany. Finally, it would be remiss if I did not mention the nearby seashore! We utterly adored taking an evening stroll on the wooden walkways through the dunes towards Miramar or Espinho but if you are into cycling or other outdoor activities, you will find a well-maintained cycling lane that goes on for miles - particularly towards Porto. We will most certainly stay here again as we literally only scratched the surface of Portugal’s wonderful north!

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la propreté du lieu et la sécurité de l'emplacement. Les nombreuses chaînes de télévision avec des programmes pour les enfants. L'équipement moderne et neuf. Les nombreux rangements. Les petites attentions, comme les pâtisseries et les jus lors de notre arrivée.

Les oreillers pourraient être un peu plus souples.
