Nice and clean, good location near road but not on road. Quiet and pleasant. There were some snags to be honest, without those, it would have been the perfect place to stay.

We really did not like that we had to start the coal fireplace in order to have hot water. We didn't use the shower/bath because of that. Kitchen sink water was also cold when we tried to do dishes. The shower that had hot water on demand had a leak and floor was wet. In fairness, we were notified of the leak a day or maybe 2, prior to our stay and told that we could use that shower but without the lights as that was where the leak was located. The alternative was to use the other shower where we would have needed to start a coal fire. We were told by the owner, we could cancel if needed due to the inconvenience but we were not able to find any other lodging on short notice. Due to water on the floor and having bad knees, I was not comfortable using that shower room either for obvious safety reasons. It would have been a plus to know we would need to bring our own scrubber to wash dishes with and our own dish towels to dry them. I do understand that this was someone's property but there were so many instructions about how to use different things in the house, that we weren't really able to relax and enjoy it much.

Beautiful view, spacious house, clean and tidy, good communication with host. We loved the place and Isle, can really recommend this place.

Back bathroom needs to be tended to. A few more smaller towels would have been perfect.

Stunning location

Needs a lot more care and attention paid to the overall appearance and state of facility eg rusty dish rack and toilet rail, toilet fans and sink plugs don’t work, tv didn’t work, mould in shower, garden totally unkept.

Nice house, well equipped, beautiful environment. Really close to the ferry terminal.

Back garden stairs were a bit covered by grass, making them a bit difficult to use.

being really picky the mattress in main bedroom could be better, but other than that all great.

beautiful property with stunning views. The house has everything you need

the property is pretty far out from the tourist attractions (at least an hour) so staying here in the winter is quite difficult. the fire also takes a while to get going which is quite inconvenient on a later evening / when you’ve been out all day.

The scenery was superb, loved it. Parking was available; perhaps the best way to access the property is by car (I drove here). The house was very cosy. It has 3 bedrooms and fits perfectly well with my family of 6. Kyle (the homeowner) was very helpful and friendly. He shared advice and guidance to make full use of the house from pre-arrival to departure. And I got a pleasant experience operating the coal heating system, which I never used before. Superb experience and highly recommended!!!
