Citrea Villa

Yet another property out in the countryside which is our preference. Near to the Botanic Gardens and on the road to Samaria Gorge. Great views over the countryside and a private pool. No shortage of oranges with the best juice of our trip.

The House is just super lovely, the beds are comfortable and there is ac in every bedroom. The Pool with the view is amazing. There are orange trees everywhere, and we were allowed to pick as many oranges as we wanted. With an orange juice this delicious, every day just started great!

A house with charm and the huge garden was a dream. The house is nestled between the orange and avovado trees. We were allowed to pick as many oranges as we wanted too. The house has everything you need to cook and bbq and the owner was very helpful in helping us settle in. I would love to go back! This house is also perfect for going to the Faraggi of Samaria which is close by.

Great villa. We liked everything: the pool, the garden, the area. The kitchen is well equiped.

Villa Citrea and its hosts is just a wonderful place to stay and visit.. We spent two weeks there and loved every minute. The Hosts are very friendly, we recieved cake and raki drink on arrival. The villa has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is space for a few cars and the villa is secured by an electric gate. The views and pool are wonderful. The place is surrounded by orange groves which the hosts own and we picked from every day for fresh orange juice. The hosts kept us well informed of local events and recommendations. The hosts mother made us a lovely meal and gave us a bottle of wine on our final days. Very kind people. There is a very nice BBQ area to use with is fantastic and we used that quite often also. You will need a car to venture out for shopping. There are a few small shops in the village but many mini markets and places to eat not far away. But a car is essential. Lots of lovely places to eat. Chania old town was our favourite. But the small lake and botanical gardens are worth a visit. We are planning on returning to Villa Citrea in the future for sure. A wonderful place to stay with the best views and church bells to keep you aware of the time every day. We loved every minute of our stay on this wonderful Island.

There was nothing not to like.

Family villa, located in the nature with a magnificent panorama and a private pool, further from the hustle and bustle of urban areas, providing you with absolute privacy. Such a great feeling to pick oranges from the garden and make orange juice every morning to start the day! We were welcomed with a freshly made cake and other local goodies. The host was very responsive and flexible. There were two bikes available as well. You can also find a restaurant in a walking distance and a small grocery shop (the bigger supermarket is easily reachable by car).

The villa is amazing. This view is insane and the orange garden is stunning. So amazing to drink fresh orange juice from the garden. The owners are super friendly. thank you for the great wine, Raki and Mboureki. The location is very private, but only 20/25 minutes by car to Chania. But a car is definitely a must (e.g. to visit a decent grocery store)

Citrea Villa is incredible. A truly beautiful villa set amongst idyllic orange groves. Roula and her family made us feel very at home. The whole space is very well kitted out and comfortable. The pool is of course a big plus and the BBQ area is worth taking advantage of.
