Mare Blue Villas Heated Pool

The pool indeed was heated, it was 25C in October, so the pool was warmer than air most of the days. We enjoyed it very much. The villa has a lot of different equipment, feels like home. Kournas village itself is such lovely place. I loved the professionalism of villa’s owner and also Maria who was most helpful. The cleaning ladies and the handyman were super nice, too as actually all people we met during our trip to Crete. The villa is perfect if you need 3 bedrooms for your family but one bedroom seperate for your parents or other friend as this has its own entrance and own kitchen. The main kitchen also had dishwasher - such big advantage for me. All beds very comfy.

For our family, it could have been more sunny. The location seemed like a place where there are lots of clouds. There is only one double bed, others are single beds that can be pushed together. This time, it was not a problem for us.

Peaceful beautiful location with only an 8 minute drive to local amenities. Great for our family! Beach and Lake Kournas is a 10 minute drive away. Maria was an excellent host and provided daily recommendations on places to visit. Very welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping came in 3 times during our 10 day stay, which was a delight having a change of bedding and towels regularly. Air con in the property which was a bonus. Highly recommend to families who want to be only a short drive to shops and activities and away from the hussle and bustle of nightlife. A car rental is a must!

Absolutely gorgeous villa, perfect location, close to lots of amenities & fantastic beaches. Welcome pack was a lovely touch, recommendations from Maria on restaurants, supermarkets & places to visit all added to our amazing holiday. Everything about our stay was perfect.

very good accommodation. The hostess Maria is very kind and friendly. Supermarkts, bakery, butcher and pharmacy are a few minutes away with a car. the swimming pool is clean and not cold. I highly recommend it.

Great space, pool was fantastic, much needed with super hot days, perfect to come back and relax by, beautiful views. Owners were lovely, very helpful, beautifully clean.
