Du Lac Villas

Excellent liocatiion, right in the middle of a village by the lake, enabling a true, authentic Greek experience. Maria was really nice, supportive and efficient.

Breathtaking location, perfect (and I mean perfect) views. Villa was brilliantly equipped with loads of towels, crockery etc. Property was amazingly located, short walk down to the lake directly below on an easy sloping road, private car space outside villa and very near to town. Maria the hostess is incredibly kind and welcoming. We had an issue which was purely our own causing the first night and she sorted it out in a matter of minutes. Oh, and a stone’s throw (literally) from some amazing tavernas. Could not recommend enough!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa. The views were fantastic; sea, lake and hills. Three great tavernas within walking distance, all with a great view of the lake. Only 5 min drive to a long sandy beach, with lots of great beach cafes, but not too commercial. A short drive to supermarkets, banks, etc but situated in a quite hillside area. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, especially the local manager, Maria, who welcomed us with a bottle of wine and some fruit and provided lots of tips on where to visit and eat. Easy to reach Chania and Rethimno and plenty of sights to visit near by.

Nothing. Even brought some chocolate cake when they dropped off a missing BBQ.

very beautiful location , the perfect getaway for a family or anybody. chilling in the pool and huge terrace for the weekend was definitely a highlight of our vacation in crete great restaurant near by and just a few min walk from the amazing lake kournas . a hidden gem of crete . a must see if traveling the area . the host was very helpful with recommendations about the area.
