Everything was perfect!

There s nothing to not like about this property.

The gentleman who met us was friendly, polite and helpful. The view was lovely.

Can we firstly say that we have contacted the property twice to raise our issues and didn't get very far so felt that we needed to give our opinion on Booking.com. We appreciate that this might not be everyone's experience with it. The location was out of the way, in an area which didn't feel safe as we had teenagers with us who wanted to be able to walk around the neighbourhood. When we entered the property it smelt stale throughout, unloved and felt as if there hadn't been anyone in there for some time. The downstairs area, whilst spacious, was very basically furnished and given it slept up to 10, two separate, small 6-seater dining tables was a bit weird. The kitchen seemed well-equipped. The bedrooms were relatively clean, however it still smelt stale and, as before, unloved. The cupboards were basic and had an unpleasant smell. The bed linen and towels were thin, faded and worn, the curtains were old, thin and wouldn't have blocked out any light. Re the outside areas, the lounge and seating areas, and the area in general, didn't seem to have been used recently as it was all very dirty and dusty. (The furniture on the patio in one of the rooms also seemed grubby and dirty.) The pool furniture looked old and a bit mouldy. The outdoor fridge was dirty and we wouldn't have wanted to use it. The grass around the pool was dead and dusty, meaning that the pool would quickly be filled with whatever was walked on to get to it. So whilst the photos looked correct, the reality of what we found at this property was vastly different to what we were expecting. All of this meant that within an hour we had booked alternative accommodation and unfortunately left. An expensive mistake, especially as our alternative accommodation didn't cost much more than what Villa Tortuga was charging. There were four of us and we had two rooms at a hotel on the beach and included breakfast.

La PAZ que se respira en la casa. Lo suficientemente apartada para tener silencio, pero a 10 minutos en coche de cualquier punto importante de Marbella.

Quizá, y por decir algo, está un poco viejecita, pero todo 100% operativo. La almohada de mi cama era súper alta... No estuve muy cómodo.

Excellent villa with fantastic facilities. Everything you need is there. The grounds and view are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are all nice and the kitchen is well equipped. The outside areas and inside areas are lovely to sit in as a group. It has plenty of ubers/cabify around for access to Marbella
