La Dimora al Mare

Location was great, very close to the beach.

There were 2 ‘bedrooms’ but really they it was 1 bigger space with a half wall partition up between rooms and doors, so wasn’t 100% private, would be very small for 2 couples staying. Communication after check in was poor, I asked for another set of keys so my friend and I could do separate things during the day and I was ignored.

Everything was great.

Very well equipped apartment (beach umbrellas, washing machine), near by various beaches. I was welcomed with a bottle of wine and taralli.

The only thing I think needs some update is the bed (hard mattress and uncomfortable pillows).

Very accommodating staff and host. That was very nice. Location is great!

We were a group of four (2 couples) and found it too cramped. There is no space in the rooms for luggage. The wall between the bedrooms only goes partway up. For privacy, I recommend that the owner take the wall all the way to the ceiling. That would make one of the rooms very dark so there would need to be a window to let light in. The space would be suitable for 2 people but for 2 couples/4 people, it was too small. There was construction going on next door so we couldn’t sit out peacefully on the terrace because of the noise and the workmen peering in at us as we tried to sit on the terrace and also in our bedroom. Perhaps the terrace could have a privacy screen installed along the side that faces the apartment buildings. And a curtain in the bedroom would have been good.

Great location, only a 3 minute walk from the Porto Rosso beach, with various restaurants and bars also surrounding. Perfect to hide from the heat when it gets too hot. The rooftop terrace was ideal for an evening glass of wine before heading for dinner.

Clean, well equipped and nice location. Good and friendly service.

Too large and high pillows.
