There is a lockdown at 11:00 pm which I don't really appreciate. You can still climb over the fence to go in and out, but it's not the best for a relaxing vacation. Also, a deposit of 200k is requested. It was ok to ask for it, but since I didn't had much cash, I hated that I had to withdraw money for that...

Vintage style villa, personally I have found it to be cozy - wooden doors, walls, warm lights, open roof main area, the villa certainly has a charm. The host was really kind and welcoming, despite not speaking great English, we found our way to communicate. Beds were surprisingly comfy, AC was working just fine, main area has a bed to lay on and chill. Fridge in the kitchen area came in handy to store food and fruits, as well as filtered water in a dispenser, which is super convenient considering the danger of tap water in Bali.

While the place is affordable, I have found 4 star hotels that are barely 10-15$ more expensive than this villa for the same amount of nights, which includes daily cleaning, and new facilities (and all other things that a typical 4 star hotel would include). Not to mention better location. Daily cleaning isn’t a thing here so if you are staying in a room for more than 2-3 nights it gets pretty dirty. Showers have no hot water. Traffic noise was certainly there. Saw a random cockroach in the bathroom, normal thing in SE but you know, it’s still not the best thing to witness😂 Not the best location either as the villa is pretty far from everything.

The property and house keeper made me feel like I was at home in Thailand. So friendly and nice to talk with. The pool temperature was perfect to relax in. The kitchen area and fridge were helpful to keep our drinks cold, and it is a very nice location close to the water and not much noise around the area.

I don’t know. Everything was good. My partner was a bit tall for some of the door ways but he didn’t mind ducking down to walk in.
