Villa Vasilia

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, eine kleine Ausstattung an Milch, Kaffee, Toastbrot, Wurst.... war von den Gastgebern in der Küche vorhanden. Auch für die Katzen war Futter hinterlegt.

Wenn man im Herbst reist, ist keine Sonne auf der Terrasse, die Sonne steht zu tief, ist aber nur eine Anmerkung.

You need to walk through the Master bedroom to get to the other bedroom.

Villetta con ampio terrazzo con vista baia. Vicinanza (5 min a piedi) alle 2 principali spiagge di Lindos. Centrale ma leggermente appartati dal centro più caotico. Attrezzature sufficienti. Pronto e gentile riscontro alle richieste effettuate. C'è un dolcissimo gatto rossiccio che praticamente preferisce stare con gli esseri umani(anche perché viene viziato). Abbiamo pensato di portarlo via ma sarebbe stato un atto egoistico, meglio libero come tutti gli altri gatti di Lindos. Abbiamo lasciato abbondanti scorte di cibo nella speranza che sia trattato bene anche dai prossimi ospiti della struttura. Unica avvertenza che mi sento di dare è che considerati i numerosi sali scendi e la scalinata finale per l'accesso, non è consigliabile a persone con difficoltà fisiche. Per il resto è un'OTTIMA SCELTA.

La vue depuis la maison est incroyable,le frigo rempli de gentilles attentions pour le petit déjeuner,la situation dans ce village magnifique ,heureusement que notre hôte a fait monter nos bagages en golfette ,la climatisation parfaite ,la propreté impeccable

Les lits confortables mais posés au sol,mon mari ayant mal au dos avait des difficultés à se relever,il faut être aussi en forme pour accéder à ce logement car ça monte et beaucoup de marches à monter ,malheureusement une odeur d égout dans la salle de bain,mais je pense que c’est aussi le cas dans tous les pays chauds

Tengerre néző szállás, saját terasszal, saját bejáratú kedves, aranyos, szelíd cicával. A hűtőben alapélelmiszerek voltak bekészítve, felvágott, sajt, tej, víz stb.

Mivel régi a ház, bár szépen felújított és rendben tartott, a fürdőben enyhe szennyvízszag érződött.

We were very pleased with this accommodation in the beautiful little village of Lindos. There was a sea view in one direction and the Acropolis in the other. The people responsible for the rental were incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to reach. We travelled during the high season and, despite the many tourists, the accommodation felt like a peaceful oasis where you could retreat. Three wonderful swimming spots were within walking distance from the house. Our favourite was swimming in and through the caves located just a five-minute walk from the accommodation. We can highly recommend this place!

Location and view of this location are the best! The air conditioning worked really well and was much needed. Communication with Kostas was really nice and easy. There was also some food and drinks waiting for us on arrival and that was much appreciated. We also had a kitten come to the terrace every day, so we hope he will be taken care of. We named him Gyros and is very handsome and sweet.

The large patio and the stupendous view — out of this world! The owner supplied us with needed staples, plus some extras like yogurt, Greek Easter cookies, etc. Very nice, indeed! The beds were comfy, hot water was always available, and the washing machine and outdoor drying racks worked well.

It would have been nice to know before booking about the serious parking issues. For one of us, the long uphill walk from the parking lot to the town center, (plus the distance to the apartment), was a problem.

We loved the stunning views from the terrace over the main beach of Lindos and the harbour and open sea beyond. We also loved the spacious terrace. Wonderful to have so much space. The villa was very quiet as it was tucked away above the busy village centre. It was also a five minute walk up the the Acropolis behind us. Perfect location! We ate in the villa most evenings but there are many restaurants in the village for those who prefer to have a proper break! There are many rooftop restaurants with stunning views of the Acropolis lit up at night. Lovely experience. Our hosts (Kosta and his daughter Vassia) were very helpful and welcoming, including booking a taxi to pick us up from the airport and meeting us in the village square on our arrival. Kosta was very patient as we did a quick supermarket shop before being taken to the villa. Vassia was brilliant at answering all our questions quickly and efficiently. Thank you both!

To get to Villa Vasilia from the village centre, you need to be fairly fit as the final section of the walk is quite steep and the villa can't be reached by car. However, we got pretty used to carrying our shopping up the hill without too much huffing and puffing!
