Mountain Retreat house to Relax and Enjoy

The view was AMAZING. The wrap around porch was lovely to walk around and take in the views of the mountains.

The amount of bugs inside the property. Although it is a mountain getaway, I felt like the windows could be better insulated or vacuuming up the bugs prior to having guest. BUT the info on the bugs inside the welcome binder was calming and informative.

This location was everything. You are in the brushy mountains on a farm off a gravel road. Waking up in the morning to that view, to the peace and quiet at night was amazing. House is beautiful, not far from the amenities of Lenoir either. Will stay here again. Thank you!

Lovely views from the porch. Property is isolated and very quiet. A nice place to relax and unwind. We choose this cabin because my father in law is in a wheelchair. We were able to wheel him in through the garage door, all bedrooms are on the main level and the master bathroom is handicapped accessible. He very much enjoyed the views from the porch while drinking his morning coffee. There is a downstairs level that is very nice as well - games room/TV setup/and some workout equipment. We would stay again.

This isn’t so much something we didn’t like however, it would have been nice to know that to get to the cabin you will be driving up a gravel road. The road/driveway was well maintained for gravel.

Beautiful setting. Large space and many options for sleeping families, including rollaway and toddler beds and cribs. Very accomodating

There were a number of spiders and bugs in the basement, but I think that's to be expected in a rural setting. The upstairs was very clean and comfortable.

This place is a sanctuary. The scenic views are spectacular and so majestic. The house itself is spacious and clean and fully stocked with all that you need for comfort, peace, and relaxation.

Everything was perfect. Loved everything.
