Lovina Paradise

Love everything about this place, the elevated site with fantastic views. The breakfast is prepared fresh each morning. The housekeeper Komang, is absolutely wonderful. Huge swimming pool, and all set in large private gardens.

Pretty much everything. Pool was beautiful. Place was huge. Big separate living area I didn't really use but great for a couple or 2 couples. Really friendly villa cat who was a good companion (and I don't even like cats really). Couldn't believe the value for money it represents. Staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. Villa only 2 km from main road. I had a scooter so no problems. If not a taxi would be cheap.

That by giving it another 10 it may become so popular I won't be able too book it again

What a great place to stay in Lovina - amazing views through to the volcanoes on Java over the massive pool. The grounds and gardens are well kept and fairly safe for older children to roam about. Komang (the Housekeeper) is great and very attentive and helpful. She can organise transport, cook and help with laundry etc which makes things alot easier. The rooms and bathrooms are huge and the beds and sunloungers are comfortable. The lounge and kitchen area was well supplied with cooking stuff and board games. The kids loved the resident cats and kittens as well!

My only gripe about this place was that you couldn't really walk anywhere, especially with kids. Although this is also part of the appeal given the beautiful views. I'd recommend you get an Indonesian Sim so you can use Gojek (Indonesian equivalent to Uber)to have food delivered. Or, you can use WhatsApp to contact local restaurants who might be able to deliver food or come and pick you up and bring you to their Resto. Alternatively, you maybe able to ask Komang to go and collect food for you. We were quoted 150k to 200k for a car to go to Lovina and back (a 5 minute drive), which can add up quickly if you need to do that 2 or 3 times a day.
