"We left McMillans a bit disappointed, now our extended family need to find a new place to stay close to Christmas street"

Location suits us every year because it’s so close to family in Christmas street. Also so close to walk into the shops & lovely so close to the water.

Beds were awfully uncomfortable , one of our group left a day early because she couldn’t bear to sleep there 1 more night. We booked for 5 nights so expected there to be a few things provided to last a few days, there were only 2 toilet rolls (and no toilet brush with 3 boys in the house 🤨) & there were 6 of us, no salt, no glad wrap, no paper towel, no olive oil, no bbq utensils & it was dirty when we went to use it so it was just more difficult. I understand that these little extras are definitely not a guarantee although when you are paying such a high price for accommodation these are the extras that one expects to see. Honestly I think you get looked after better at a cabin in a caravan park. Our boys (youngest 13yrs) were told to get out of the games room because it was too close to the pool?! This was just a bit weird?
