The best type of villa

Breakfast was not good. No options to eat, no kitchen in the hotel.

The attentiveness of the team is the most standout aspect of our stay. The small buffet was great. Being able to take stuff back to our room to enjoy was a great addition. Having a personal pool, large bathroom, large comfy bed were all great aspects as well.

The room was not as clean as I'd like. We found hair left behind from previous guests. There were stains on the sofa cushions and they were flipped around to the other side to mask them. Our sink was leaking the first night and so it was unusable until the second day when they sent someone to fix it but it still leaked so we resolved to putting containers under the sink to catch the water and emptying it. Our showerhead was also clogged and not completely free flowing. Driving down to our property was also a challenge. I wish we would have been warn ahead of time. Maybe for someone that has a lot more experience it would have been easy. An awd vehicle would have fared much better. The pool was cleaned every morning we were there but our first night their were lots of large bugs. I understand it's an outdoor pool but they knew our check-in time. Maybe they could have at least done a quick sweep first? Another thing I had to do myself the first night. Cleaning the pool of bugs before we could use it. After housekeeping cleaned our room the first day nothing was locked. There was also a side door connecting us to the suite next to us the first night that couldn't be locked by us. The property has potential but the units themselves need some touch-ups and housekeeping needs some more training.

It was situated on the highest point of the Santorini. It was a quiet place.

The breakfast was amazing, and there were snacks throughout the day if you wanted. The staff was super friendly. The villa was stylish, well equipped and had amazing views.

Everything, I felt like in paradise! The place is amazing, the staff is lovely, the commodities are exceptional ! I could dream better ! 😇

That you have to drive to go to the cafeteria, but still... You will find a nice and delicious buffet, with homemade food, and again... A wonderful service!

The stunning views, pool and the basic Amenities

Nothing everything was exceptional

Everything about this place is excellent. The staff were amazing and always available to help. The Retreat is an excellent place to stay if you want privacy. The jacuzzi was excellent. The breakfast and open access to all the refreshments at the santorini lounge was just par excellence. We went there end of Feb so it was off season and very quiet on the island. You do need a small car to go around though

Nothing....everything was great

The Retreat is in a quiet, elevated zone without excess tourist development but with pleasing views from almost the highest point of the island. Its units blend into the environment and enjoy beautiful landscaping. They offer maximum privacy and have a soothing aesthetic. The large staff is highly professional, personable, and help to make any stay complete. As the photos suggest, the effect of an infinity pool stretching across the whole width of the unit with a “floating” lounge bed is mesmerizing. The patio doors open in a row to bring the outside in. The breakfast offerings can be customized to meet your dietary needs. One could go on, but unless you want to party with loud crowds in Ouia, the Retreat is the best possible choice.
