Location is perfect - 7 mins to Alcudia old and port. 15 mins to Port Pollensa, then only 35 mins from the airport. Ample space outside for dining and entertaining. The pool is a great size - the photos don't do it justice as the outside has had a spruce up since they were taken. Family friendly too with stairgates, travel cot and highchair available.

Mosquitos - the weather didn't help but due to the rural location this attracts them - plenty of bug spray and citronella candles!

De accommodatie lag op een mooie rustige plek tussen de olijfbomen. De keuken is goed uitgerust en er is een barbecue. Alcúdia en Pollenca lagen vlakbij, evenals de stranden en de gezellige havens van deze twee stadjes. Ook supermarkten (Eroski) waren snel te bereiken.

Er zijn wel drie badkamers maar een van de badkamers ligt bij het terras en dus niet bij de slaapkamers. Toen we aankwamen waren er nog al wat zaken niet in orde waarvoor we Homerti hebben moeten bellen: de vaatwasser pompte niet leeg, een toilet spoelde niet door, een douchestang zat los evenals een wc-bril en de barbecue was niet schoongemaakt. Bij een van de douches (bij de slaapkamers beneden) liep het water niet goed weg en hebben we een paar keer haren moeten verwijderen. Het hing in die badkamer ook een rioollucht. Het zwembad is heerlijk maar iedere keer als we wilden zwemmen moesten we eerst wespen, vliegen en ander beestjes met een net verwijderen. Ook was niet al het glaswerk en serviesgoed schoon. De problemen werden, nadat we ze gemeld hadden, snel opgelost door de eigenaar maar zulke zaken moeten bij de schoonmaak, voordat er nieuwe gasten komen, natuurlijk gecontroleerd worden.

House was lovely - upstairs bathroom could do with a renovation but rooms were lovely and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and outdoor area absolutely perfect.

We were charged an additional Eco Tax of a 100 Euros just before arriving even though my booking on booking.com said all taxes and fees are included. Now nobody feels responsible. This is not okay.

Super, given the Mallorcan flora!

Initially there was a slight disappointment that the villa is not as fresh/modern as the photos portrayed prior to booking - particularly the pool grass and pavement area which is more cleanly maintained/refined in the photos than actual (the lawns and plants are not maintained especially around the pool as per the images, and the umbrellas and sun beds are not as depicted (2 cheap store umbrellas and not canvas as shown). Photos make the villa look bigger than actual overall but still lots of space! The kitchen area has many good appliances but the units and worktop need upgraded - as this looked tired and caused an unusual odour that we had to daily contend with with disinfectant and washing.
