Beach Villa Cosins 1 Mel by Sealand Villas

Disappointing Experience I generally don’t like to leave negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary to share our experience to help future guests make an informed decision. Upon arriving at the property around 10 PM, we were shocked to find that the house had not been cleaned at all. Both the bathroom and bedroom were in an unacceptable state of disarray. Faced with no other option, we had to scramble to find a hotel at the last minute and didn’t get to bed until nearly 2 AM — which severely impacted our plans for the following day. We communicated the issue with the host and were assured that the place would be cleaned by the time we returned the next day. Unfortunately, when we arrived for our second attempt to check in, the situation remained unchanged. No cleaning had been done. While we understand that occasional issues can arise, the lack of follow-through and basic preparedness reflects extremely poor service management. We were genuinely surprised by how disorganized and unprofessional the handling of this situation was. If you are considering booking this house, we strongly advise you to do so with caution.

Location, size, the goodie bag, pool

Air con wasn’t great and unless we were blind we couldn’t see any plug sockets on the kitchen island so had to plug kettle & toaster into the sockets on the floor which was really quite dangerous.

Great location and pool area is fantastic for families

Bathrooms need a little more updating I. The shower area as looking very worn. Pool filter Was not very efficient Need more tea and coffee cups (not Christmas themed!!) (Comments are only suggestions NOT complaints :) )

great location with lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by. near the beach. Pool was lovely and the outside space was good. kitchen well-stocked. Contact with the owners was prompt and helpful.

Should say upfront that neither of these points are major and should not stop anyone staying there. It is a lovely villa but unlike the pictures, the outside space was not private. the Villa backs onto a public walkway and although not heavily used anyone walking by could look straight in. Bed in the downstairs room was very squeaky which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep, but the mattress was comfortable.

Fantastic Villa, so much room and the pool was amazing! Check in and check out couldn’t of been easier. Facilities and everything was so clean and comfortable.
