Maris Villas

Amazing location! Plenty of space in and around the villa. Outdoor area was bigger than expected. Pool was warm at all times of the day. Great communication from the host 👍

the pool was good fun. It was saltwater and cleaned every two days. The furniture and terrace were comfortable and had a great view down into Elounda.

I am older and the bathrooms were on the the bottom floor and the top floor. The entrance, living room and kitchen were on the middle floor. There are two new houses being built across the drive. Although the construction is almost complete and the workers were pretty quiet we were aware of them from about 7.00 in the morning. To be fair, it looked like the work would be finished in a matter of weeks.

Everywhere around the Villa is private and fenced off, even no access to the coast due to large hotels with security guards and barriers. the only public area to walk was the narrow lane in the Elounda.

Location is a car ride to town but this was easy and not far away. Rooms were very clean with dressing gown and slippers left with clean towels. Great kitchen facilities if you wish to cook.loved the outdoor pool with bbq facilities in full privacy. Property manager met us on arrival and explained everything which was very helpful

Bathrooms so small it was a challenge to get dressed in there and not wet everything. Internal stairs are very steep so would not suggest for anyone who doesn’t have full mobility or balance eg toddlers Damp smell downstairs when we went out each day and the doors were shut so needed airing when we got home each day.

More clothes pegs, and a laundry basket would be helpful - not much however - it was great overall.
