Friendly staff, very helpful. Property is in a beautiful spot and feels very rural and authentic. Bedrooms were nicely decorated and clean. The back of the house has a beautiful feel too and great for sunrise yoga (though it could be nice to have some mats). There’s a stable and farm around and lovely horses, but we were told off for walking around in it. The main house and big living room are huge and great for socialising, and the table outside is lovely for breakfast. The WiFi works but doesn’t travel across the whole house because of the thick walls.

As others have mentioned the pool is a little tired. We found a dead frog and mouse in it. The company did send people to clean it but their comment that “it’s the countryside/nature” wasn’t great. Yes it’s the country but the pool needs to be properly maintained and cleaned. It had lots of bird feathers in it when we arrived. Also worth noting one of the rooms is basically a box room, it has no windows and had no lamp in it and no private door at the back as it shares a bathroom with upstairs. So bear that in mind when booking. The wooden loungers pictured aren’t really useable as there are no cushions. There’s also some construction going on that’s not pictured. The place has potential but it was a little tired and could use some updates.
