the property is exactly like the photos, lots of space on a quiet location, our kids enjoyed very much the beautiful gardens and pools; the beach was perfectly private. breakfast was amazing! Indika was like a personal butler with the best service from day to night. 100% recommended

The location was excellent, the front view and approximity of the beach was very close. The breakfast spread was excellent and presented well with the chef very accommodating and always serving with a big smile.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Der Kellner vom Frühstücksservice war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wir waren nicht im Hauptgebäude sonden im neben Gebäude Beachhouse. Dort hatte es keine Bar. Personell war es unterbesetzt. Um zu frühstücken, sind wir ins Hauptgebäude rübergelaufen. Es hat keinen Gehweg bei der Strandseite. Für den Preis erwartet man einen Fitnessraum und Mineralflaschen im Zimmer, was wir auch nicht hatten. Das Hotel hat keine Einfahrt. Zwischen dem Hauptgebäude und Beachhouse ist eine Müllhalde. Wir fühlen uns total abgezockt. Es war mit Abstand das teuerste Hotel auf unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Wir können es zu diesem Preis das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

The staff were genuinely kind and friendly — that is the one real positive of our stay.

- This is a satellite property with no on-site reception — every request (high chair, bill, basic needs) requires fetching someone from the main hotel 100m away, resulting in long waits. Staff were understaffed and undertrained. -The room was small, dark, and had no water bottles; when we asked, we received lukewarm tap water. A room change was only offered at extra charge. - Transfers with a baby seat were a serious safety concern: the seat belt went directly over our infant, the seat was once broken, and the driver arrived 20 minutes late then drove aggressively despite our requests to slow down. We were charged roughly 5× the Uber rate — over $100 for three short trips — and only received a partial refund after a major dispute. - Drop-off is on a street that smells of garbage. The bathroom had almost no ventilation and became unpleasant within two days. - A transfer with baby seat requested 24+ hours in advance received no reply until after check-in. For $200+/night, this is a 3-star experience with 5-star pricing across the board.

Location was fantastic. Overlooking a beautiful sandy beach. Service was great. Breakfast was delicious.
