"Ruined by corrupt police"

Lovely location, Villa was clean and tidy (we arrived early to drop our bags off and it was in some state from the previous occupants - they cleaning staff did a fantastic job!)

The corrupt police in Olhao - I will never return to Portugal because of them - they deliberately target tourists parking and clamp hire cars. We parked there - out of the 40 cars in the area only 2 were clamped - both hire cars, nothing else touched. The "official" at the town hall has a ready made map showing where to go to pay the fine - corruption at its worst! Shame on them for letting your country down
