Nothing to complain

I came with my wife took deluxe room. The behaviour of the boy and the place is also good. And the markets are nearby.

Great value for money. Comfy rooms, nice pool and awesome breakfast.

Not walkable to Ubud centre (this didn’t affect us.)

Very disappointed! Looked good on pictures, but doesn’t meet any hygiene standards!

The room wasn’t clean! We couldn’t sleep in the bed because the bedsheets were so old and covered in multiple stains! There was a tick!!! in the bed that brings a lot of hygiene concerns! On top of everything there was a web between the pillows with the spider! There’s also a mold everywhere! We couldn’t sleep and leave ASAP early in the morning. Stuff didn’t speak good English and couldn’t help us. The property refused to give us a refund for that night, and booking.com customer service doesn’t help us as well, even though I booked this hotel through Booking.com, not directly with the property. Very bad and disappointing experience!!!

Wayan works extremely hard. He is so kind and helpful. The pool is quite sweet, breakfast was good, we didn't have mozzie problems, it's quite rural but Grab taxi works a treat, good places to eat, cafes and a Padel court close by. I like the paddy setting and don't mind the noisy night time concierto. Peaceful place.

The fusty and damp environment. We were in the anything but deluxe villa 1, there was mold growing under the kitchen sink, the kitchen frankly is not fit for purpose. The bath room is damp and smelly. A degree of dampness is normal for south east asia in the rainy season. It is quite a wet location in the rice paddy. The towels and bed linen were worn and grubby. Fixtures and fittings looked tired. The property is not well lit at night and the stepping stones can be slippy in the wet. I lay the responsibility of the poor state of the property firmly with Svaha Hospitality. I feel they are just squeezing but not investing into the property. Wayan is not to blame for any of this. He works so hard but I feel he is unhappy how things are. The poor lad has to do everything by himself he works long hours, more staff and investment is definitely required to improve this property.

In middle of rice fields, peaceful

Service is not appropriate, people need to wait for things and at times there is no one at the property to cater. The swimming pool is not clean, there are dead leaves and residuals on the floor which don’t get cleaned. The drainage system including the toilet flush system is faulty and the water doesn’t pass easily during rains.
