Amaya Cottage Ubud by Best Living

Couldn't recommend more this place! It's quiet, have privacy, it's clean, staff is awesome and they will fix everything.for you. Worth mentioning that they have two wifi connections, so in case you work remotely it's a place to go! Maybe missing a desk in the room, but this is a single minor drawback.

Really lovely pool area. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great included breakfast. Filtered water in the room was a nice touch, plus tea and coffee.

A bit stuck out from central Ubud - which is exactly why we booked it, but you will need a moped. No food or drink other than breakfast on site. But one of the guys did really kindly offer to go and buy us beers and there is a lovely restaurant just down the road, so not really a problem.

- pool was nice and the bathrooms were indoor

- false advertising - we were promised a tv and living/sitting area for our booking but our room did not contain either - the air conditioner did not work effectively. The room was warm and sticky so we were unable to sleep. When we asked staff to fix it, the only option was to move rooms, however the other room also did not have a good working AC. - the sheets looked stained and dirty - the first room we were put in had a fridge that had a rank odour every time we opened the door - the location was way too far away from the centre - we are confused by the 5 star ratings - all of this led to us changing our dates and moving to another accommodation. We changed the dates of our stay multiple times on the app but the staff said they never received it. - we paid for 2 nights on site even tho we only stayed for 1. - lots of bugs and the curtains were dusty and dirty

The bed was huge and very comfortable. Also the view from the bedroom directly into the rice field

Very nice property in the middle of the rice fields, very private as there is not a lot of villas. The staff is very kind and accommodating.
