Honeyhill Villa Karhu

The cottage is in a beautiful location surrounded by nature and small forest. The place is spacious, kitchen well equipped to host bigger groups of people. Perfect place to enjoy a good company and nature.

A nice warm house, a good sauna, the sea and beautiful nature not far away.

- Honeyhill was a nice and clean place. It had a fireplace, 4 bedrooms and the beds were all single beds, so all rooms were suited equally for couples, as well as friends or kids. - The lady managing Honeyhill was very quick to answer to questions on the Booking.com app, both before and during the stay, which was very helpful. - The kitchen had e.g. some spices, coffee filters and stuff like baking paper left over from previous tenants, which was superb. The kitchen also had plenty of cutlery, plates, cooking equipment and such. This was great.

- The TV did not work (couldnt connect to the normal television channels), which was unfortunate, as there were football games that we would have loved to watch. We also tried if we could have found, used or downloaded a TV app (as it was a smart TV), to broadcast a mobile device with the stream, but unfortunately to do that, the TV asked us to log-on with the main user-ID, which we did not have. - It was unfortunate that the cabin did not have extra firewood. There was enough for one evening, and no outside storage or place where wood could be topped up from. - The bedroom had little sound isolation, so bring earplugs if someone is sound-sensitive.

The location was very nice, and the cottage had a nice and authentic feeling. There was enough room for all of us, and the sauna was nice.

In the pictures, I didn't look as though there were other people living closely to it. However, once arrived, you'll notice you're not the only one there. Fortunately for us, no one was home, but it would have been sad if our neighbours complained about us being too loud for instance when on a holiday.
