Da Sofia

Sofia is a terrific host who is always happy to help when you need anything. She even drove us to a restaurant before the kitchen closed on our first night there, which not many people would do.  The villa has a great view and is quite conveniently located. Pelekas, Glyfada beach, and Mirtiotissa beach are all a 30 minute walk from the property, so you can traverse easily enough by foot. The private pool is a good size and the garden is lovely with several seating options.

There were only a few downsides to our stay. The stove top didn't work, which limited the meals we could cook in the villa. The neighbours' dogs barked late into the night, sometimes making it difficult to fall asleep. The beds were very hard, and could benefit from an optional mattress topper for side and stomach sleepers. At times, there was a strong sewage smell that came from the shower in the blue bathroom. Lastly, you're not allowed to wear suncream into the pool, meaning you can't swim for long when the sun is out.  Overall though, the positives by far outweigh the negatives, and you couldn't ask for a better host than Sofia.

My family and I just returned from Corfu, where we stayed at Da Sofia for three weeks. We had an absolutely fabulous time. This house in a great location, high up on a hill with a great view of the sea. The house is designed perfectly for outdoor/indoor living, and our group of ten was able to enjoy homeade meals altogether each night. We traveled all around the island, hitting up all the beaches. We mostly visited Glyfada, as it was sand, and the closest one to us. Sofia was extremely helpful and kind, giving us advice on places to visit and boat trips that were a must. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

Highly recommend! Very nice villa: fantastic location, peaceful and relaxing very nice view. The place provides calm, quiet and relaxation. The house itself is cozy, nicely designed, well equipped. Very nice (and big enough! swimming pool and garden). Fully recommended! Very supportive and helpful host!

We’ve been here with a group of friends for a couple of days and we loved everything of our stay. Sofia, the host, is a very kind person that welcomed us in such a nice way, letting us find fresh water, chocolate and even a welcome bottle of wine, besides giving us useful tips about the house and the places nearby. The house itself is so beautiful, the stunning sea view, the pool and the perfectly maintained garden. The only regret is to have been there for a short time, Thanks Sofia!
