Villa Papaya Bingin

The layout was nice and open. Staff were great and responsive. Pool was a good size. Beds were very comfy and location was great for us.

The pool was a little on the warm side, not sure if this can be addressed given the hot weather.

The initial look was great, good location, nice pool, and the overall first impression was very good! ... until we started to try and use the facilities...

The place needs A LOT of maintenance, and we unfortunately had to move on from this stay because there were too many things continually going wrong. No power on arrival, no flushing toilets, aircon, fridge, etc. Ran out of water from the well on the second day, then the pumps didn't work properly, maintenance guys here on and off trying to fix things for a really long time again. Electrical fire in the meter box the following day, again no power to anything - also very dangerous! One of the maintenance guys left a tap on in the spare ensuite when checking the water problem. This was left and flooded the spare room. If the maintenance here gets fixed, this would be a great villa!

Best item in the villa was the pool and the location close to Dreamland beach and 5 minutes away from the busy streets on a scooter. There is a small bakery which servers great food and coffee.

The villa needs work, some paint, some repairs, it looks dated. The cushions around the pool area need replacement. We had hot water for 1 day, quite a few electricity outages, the host was not located nearby so he had to send his friends all the time to fix stuff. On arrival, the rooms felt stuffy, they could have switched on the airco and perhaps a cold-water drink on arrival? (small things can make a difference). The garden look untidy (leaves, long grass). Perhaps a jug of cold water in the fridge? We only saw the host on arrival and departure and it wasn't the greatest experience. I can't really recommend the villa to be honest. We have stayed in many before. This one was the least impressive. Because I was new to Uluwatu, it was hard to pick the right place to stay -> good value, good location etc.. Now that I have been there, I will do my further due diligence for my next stay to pick the right villa.

Great location. Villa is very well maintained, it’s clean, the pool was in pristine condition. We loved the bathrooms, and the rooms were cosy and beautifully arranged. Ac was working well

It had a great indoor/outdoor area and lovely pool. The rooms were spacious and we loved the outside bathroom. The staff were very helpful and went beyond what was required of them

Cleaning lady every day, gardener, pool guy and contact on the phone did a good job

The villa doesnt worth such of price. We were dossapointed it is really old, roof doesnt manage heavy rain so there was water in 2 rooms, water for showering smells( probably the watertank it goes from is not clean), and there is uncomfortable mattress in the second bedroom. Villa is stylish on the first view unfortunatelly a bit dificcult for using. Sorry to say.
